I would definitely go for Alpine because u can still upgrade with PHA-H100. Not being bias or anything but Kenwood DDX-8036BT does have its unique point such as time alignment but doesn't look convincing to me in terms of specs.

budget wise, kenwood is cheap. function wise kenwood has more. quality wise, alpine is better.

if to add on h100. the total price will be huge difference..

why not h800 directly?

U can try dis pair, Alpine IVA-D800E & PXA-H800. Guarantee u smile.

and guarantee my wallet cry.. haha

h800 is already a 5.1 decoder

thanks...for all of your info...1 question......how about 2volt pre out and 5volt pre out.....because alpine pre out is 2volt...and kenwood is 5volt........can some one telling me about this.....izit will give more effect to sound or else...

ill choose 5V, but keep in mind theyre not rated 2V / 5V RMS-------------
in real world both might be give teh same preout voltage,,,,,,,,,

Alpine most definitely Upgrading capabilities and quality better than Kenwood. Most probably coz I am an Alpine Fan boy. Lol!
