Actually that's what YOU said, not me brows.gif
That's exactly what I told YAB when I was having TT with His Highness once blink.gif
19 hg/in idling? I'm jeles. Me only get 17 at the most dry.gif
*
Did I told you? Then I must have confused, somebody teach me that during midnight run rclxub.gif but I think I started to believing in the religion after our midnight run TT laugh.gif

If the fuel being totally cut off, hmm? wouldn't that result in a huge jerk when you step on the gas pedal again? Have you try push start? When somebody pushing your car(nothing goes in combustian chamber), you engage gear and let the chamber take pressure from the wheels, step on petrol to pour fuel in, let the huge combustian self ignite the A/F mixture then your jerk until vomit inside the car.

Anyways, those are theory. Correct me if I'm wrong. May be somehow EFI did managed to soled the no fuel go in but engine done die issue nod.gif now only mengsuan & dares worth believing as the 2 of you having OBD reading, you can read the fuel supply during downhill right? So, I may be wrong. But forsure I'm not going to practice lean burning on my iswaga period.

thnaks for de info...
but but now normal balik.... can shift gear without blinking but got slight jerk now.... really need to send for them to check...

According to your description, that's torque converter problem. So, do send back SC for check. ATLEAST you buy a piece of mind. Plotong already well known with suck in picking up the wrong 4AT for all their cars.

Sendiri tengok berapa banyak komplen

Faster go check. Who knows those sohigh last time service your car put engine oil in your gearbox doh.gif

Not to the extend of 45 shakehead.gif generally, temperature +10'F will mean 1psi expand. In our country, atmost you can get it up 2-3psi nia(unless you stay in Genting, work in KL, may stand a chance to take it up the 5psi different)

hmm.gif Right foot problem? hmm.gif

Wife drive, under 10km/l. Me drive over the weekend, can get back 11km/l. If I'm driving the whole tank, normally 13km/k. If lucky not much traffic, 16km/l. Check my fuelly for detail.

Happened to me before a few times vmad.gif

Tissues aren't enough. You need to quickly find the watering can and basuh the affected area with lots of water immediately, or else the petrol will discolour your paint (like on mine cry.gif)

Oh do let us know which station and pump number so it we can blacklist it icon_idea.gif

Reduces your braking distance by half laugh.gif

Added on September 7, 2012, 8:19 am

So you stepped hard on the brake but the car didn't stop? hmm.gif
*
1) The backflow sensor located wrong place. If slow fill up it doesn't detect backflow as it should. This type of nozzle need to do fast fill up then only it will trigger doh.gif

2) Its weird hmm.gif more fuel goes in will reduce engine brake(keep the engine alive) to really cut off fuel supply, turn your key back to ACC position from ON(so you don't lock your steering). Now that is real engine braking icon_idea.gif Don't wanna argue with those with OBD2, but engine shall not cut off fuel supply until shut down. If the cut off fuel supply did exist as TOYOTA suggested, then the problem will be when rolling downhill, if you step on clutch then engine mati straight away. No powah steering, no hydraulic brake, no ABS doh.gif i'd think when injector/ml 0 reading meaning not sending signal to the injector, but fuel being tarik by vacuum to keep the engine alive.

3) Brake jam 9 jor. 2 conditions:
A) got bubble inside brake lines
B) he hit the brakes too hard, tyre ady stop spinning, but momentum too hai keeping the inertia go on
Think its just plain unfortunate situation. Felt sorry for his loss though. Normally if car wouldn't stop, best is keep pumping the brakes whilst pull henbrek. If only pull henbrek will bcum gymkhana instead blink.gif

CAn I ask how much to add on vacuum gauge?
*
Gauge, chiplak electronic DEFI, from supplier RM40. Buy retail RM60. Installation RM30. Analog dial gauge RM75 and above.

For FLX owner, better 叠埋心水 get the OBD2 + android. You'll get much-much more benefit from vacuum gauge alone.

How I wish BLM/FL can have that. Am sourcing for alternative from China manufacturer. I already sent the raw code for them to decompile, once its done we BLM/FL can also OBD2 icon_idea.gif And ofcoz, it costs me a bomb to become the 1st BLM to run with OBD2 sad.gif Bright side is even if it can't use, I can fall back to Savvy nod.gif

QUOTE(lhwj @ Sep 7 2012, 10:50 AM)
I got a third theory. The brakes is powered by engine vacuum right? If you tekan throttle until vacuum gauge points at 0, means there's no vacuum to power your brakes shocking.gif
*
Partially correct nod.gif

When full throttle, meaning no restriction. Engine suck how much, the air filter will take how much. If your air filter so damn dirty, even full throttle your vacuum will still point at 1-2in/hg laugh.gif

When vacuum 0, also meaning piston draw air directly from the biggest inlet(air intake pipe) whereas brake assistent need vacumized from intake manifold. So, your theory is right. Brake assistant will not exist under full throttle(even if there is will be very limited).

Your partial right will be totally non-sense. Regardless manual/auto, you only use right foot to control brake/gas pedal. When you full throttle sprint, you don't press on brake. When emergency brake, no point hit the gas, throttle shut, gain vacuum, brake pump full force vacumized. Last but not least, when you heel & toe, what action 1st? Brake first, then clutch followed by rev up, release clutch and gas pedal icon_idea.gif still got brake.

Regardless close/open loop. I wouldn't believe in cut off fuel during downhill, cut down may be. Call me ignorant whistling.gif but already few Gen2 went overhaul after came back from Genting, and DBKL spray ubat nyamuk only occur during downhill whistling.gif water temperature is normal as reported from owner blink.gif Thanks for the input Mengsuan.

Meanwhile, just finished my tank of Primax 95.

510.3km/43.03litre
8.4litre/100km
11.9km/litre

Not much piging as BHP. Very comfortable ride. Overtaking/sudden acceleration jerk like shit. Lazy to climb RPM. Feels like Octane overdozed laugh.gif

Currently running on SHELL V-Power 95. After this will be Caltex Techron 95. Will be back to ESSO/MOBIL/PETRON before conclusion.

Yesterday managed to borrow OBD2 wifi from my colleague and test it in Saga FLX SE. Here's a screen shot of vacuum reading during normal working temperature (properly warm-up).

user posted image

Does this means my car makan fuel?
*
-9.2PSI as closed to 17in/hg. Its perfectly normal for Campor engine. Just go & find a metric converter and do the math lar under PRESSURE section. Regardless BAR or in/hg or PSI or cm/hg all can use. Just need to use it utilize it properly. Normally I will devide the measurement into 3 part. For your case, take -18PSI as maximum vacuum, 1-6PSI is rich, 7-12 is stoich, 13-18 is lean. Hope this help. If your maximum reading is only 10PSI, then you will be missing the part of lean burning reading.

Hope this help.

Dude brows.gif before they cover paint, get those fucker put an extra layer of anti rust 1st lar. Meanwhile, go get a huge layer of dampening material from cushion shop, faster go stuck all over the fender lar brows.gif Next time you have no more sound from the front left side of the car whistling.gif

FYI, 10mm dampening sheet only cost 28 bucks / square meter icon_idea.gif
