QUOTE(lhwj @ Sep 10 2012, 01:18 PM) Translation for non-chinese members, the part in the box."Please do not blame Proton. Our plant too power every day 700 cars, that's one car every 98 seconds. We can't even meet demand at that rate, let alone inspect every car. Besides, who gives a flying fark about Proton quality? you buy Proton you should expect rattling dashboard, who ask you not to work harder and buy a beemer instead? -Syed Zainal" OK I was just kidding. I have much respect for DSZ, but the rest of the management is a joke. QUOTE(davidke20 @ Sep 10 2012, 01:26 PM) Apparently, Plotong asked us don't blame them since they produce 700 cars a day. Thats like every 98 seconds a new car came out, so they don't have the previous time to do inspection Somehow I can't wait to see your Savvy so I can molest it Added on September 10, 2012, 1:34 pm QUOTE(GP mad man @ Sep 10 2012, 01:28 PM) Sudah jadi mcm YAB This post has been edited by dares: Sep 10 2012, 01:34 PM |

QUOTE(GP mad man @ Sep 10 2012, 01:47 PM) i sat my fren savvy few years back, my leg no enough space to fit in I use to hate the Savvy with a passion because I thought it was fugly and pointless. In fact I used to call it the Proton Sorry.that time i still dunno that was the advertised super car threw by a monster. Then I read about it on FnF and found out what a little monster it was This post has been edited by dares: Sep 10 2012, 01:52 PM |

QUOTE(coolkwc @ Sep 10 2012, 02:13 PM) We have to admit this car is looks like 'monster' geh, even that cursed Peugeot 207 is better looking than that. If u put side by side with Myvi, not weird ppl will choose Myvi one. It looks more turtle-ish than Myvi, especially the green colour one... Hehe so you can imagine my horror when I found out the BLM was based on the Savvy platform I think the Savvy design, like the Juara, would sell better in Europe and Japan. As a matter of fact, Clarkson and Hammy thought it looked cool... |

QUOTE(eqmal197 @ Sep 10 2012, 03:56 PM) What v12k is trying to say is, Persona has no engine braking in D.Engine braking only happens if the wheels are still connected to the engine. If the tranny is designed in such a way that is disengages from the engine when coasting or going downhill, then you will not have engine braking. |

Only use L if D is not enuff.
L causes FC to increase, dont ask me why because for the same amount of throttle my km/l reading goes down whenever I slot into L, even when slow speed. My guess is tha L gear invokes a different fuel map. |

QUOTE(r3apers @ Sep 10 2012, 04:19 PM) u kena korek sendiri... bila u tarik cable tu, u kena tgk headlamp awak tgk u tarik lampu kecik punya wire or besar punya wire... jika tak silap lampu kecik kat sebelah kanan jika awak hadapi headlamp.. I dunno if fuelmap is the same, but ECU already work differently. BLM/FL is load based ECU, FLX is torque based ECU. Ayam still wondering if vacuum gauge is an accurate way to monitor FC for FLX, maybe there is a reason why they make it so difficult to install vacuum meter on the IAFM+ no problem at all... Hope u both enjoy ur new ride.. got anything juz ask.. dont shy shy... Added on September 10, 2012, 4:20 pm CVT also same meh? i thougt CVT should be better fuel map thn 4AT... |

QUOTE(lhwj @ Sep 10 2012, 04:30 PM) Emm...put it simply....Load based ECU translates pedal action into throttle plate angle, which in turn calculates fuel injected based on the airflow and commanded AFR. Torque based ECU translates pedal action into torque demand, which it then calculate how much the throttle plate should be opened and how much fuel should be injected. Eg. When you step on the gas, you are telling the car how much you want the throttle to open. When I step on the gas, I am telling the car how much torque I want. I am not sure what exactly happens on a lower level, but I would venture a guess the fuel injection rate is less dependent on throttle opening, but more on how to best serve the demanded torque. |

QUOTE(coolkwc @ Sep 10 2012, 04:37 PM) No right meh? When in L, RPM is higher but speed is lower. Provided u press same amount of throttle, the km's traveled is still less than in high speed. So less km/L reading. Speed no change. For instance I am going 30 kmh in D. I slot into L and maintain same speed with less or same throttle, km/l drops instantly. |

QUOTE(coolkwc @ Sep 10 2012, 04:50 PM) But I remember someone said (i remember u RPM is higher, thats the whole point of the L gear. But throttle and speed remains the same, except acceleration will be faster.Thats why I was wondering, where is that energy coming from? Does the ECU open the throttle plate wider and inject more fuel? As in, when I shift to L, its akin to telling the ECU I want more torque and it will adjust the throttle and AFR.
