I would like to share my recent experience while spending my holiday @ Penang last weekend.
After almost a 4 weeks spending my ass doing practical in my nearest hospital, I decided to take some times off and enjoying my holiday locally. As my fiancee's little cousin was accepted to enter USM Penang, we decided to take a trip to Penang with her family (6 pax) for a few days. Everything was great but as most of all knows, traffic congestion and Penang's drivers attitude are exceptionally unavoidable lol.
For the first night, we checked in this one suite - more like an apartment, really, which is good since the room equipped with 2 toilets, one outside and one in the room, so that male and female doesn't mixed up. Its located near the I***l factory (myky should know this suite
As the clock needle almost pointed to 12AM on the wall, I was preparing myself for solat Isya. I wore a jubah with kopiah during that time - my personally favorite attire for solat. Right after finished dua', our room bell rang. Oh, its just a guard, around 50 years old, delivering an iron board that was requested by the cousin. I open the door and wishes thanks to the guard, but right before I close the door, he'd asked me:
QUOTE
"Eh minta maaf tanya, adik ni ustaz ke?"
I was like... :\
QUOTE
"Eh tak, saya solat tadi. Kenapa pakcik?"
His face look pale. Worry. Cold sweat dripping from his forehead.
QUOTE
"Adik asal orang sini ke? Tahu mana-mana ustaz tak kat sini?"
My curiosity intensified. I turned my head to look at my fiancee brother (Lets call him F). He is a hafiz and currently studying in a Fiqh course if I am not mistaken. But during that very moment, I don't expect any serious situation, maybe this guard need someone to be an Imam for solat or something, idk. So I replied:
QUOTE
"Abang saya mungkin boleh tolong kot, tapi kena tahu tolong apa dulu. Kalau mudah-mudah ni insyaAllah boleh sebab dia pun pelajar lagi."
Slight sign of relieved was appeared on the guard's expression.
QUOTE
"Boleh panggil dia sat tak adik?
Without hesitation, I walk toward F and told him that a guard might need his help regarding something. Both of us met the guard again at the door, handshake and ask the guard to be honest about this problem.
QUOTE
"Macam ni dik. Minta maaf kacau malam-malam tapi kami ada customer perempuan kat tingkat 10 kena rasuk. Dia duk menggelempar (struggling) nak terjun bagunan ikut tingkap! Pakcik nak mintak adik mai tengok sat baca apa-apa bagi dia tenang sikit. Kawan pakcik (guards too) duk pegang tangan kaki dia takmau bagi dia lompat tapi dia kuat. Tolong kami sat adik noh, bilik dia nombor 10xx"
I was like what the hell man... Why on earth do we need to face a situation like this right almost the midnight.
F look at me, blinking and staring, planning and thinking what he able to do. After a few moments, F asked:
QUOTE
"Pompuan yang kena tu boleh mengucap semua ke?"
The guard replied;
QUOTE
"Ha boleh mengucap semua, siap boleh baca surah panjang lagi sedangkan berdasarkan kawan dia tu, budak pompuan tu tak reti baca quran pun. Tapi lepas dia baca sat-sat tu, dia duk senyap pastu mengilai (laughing like a female ghost) balik."
F whispering to himself
QUOTE
"Jenis kuat ni tapi nak main je..."
"Kat sini, bukan kali pertama jadi macam ni kan? Benda tu duk kacau orang dan memang tinggal kat sini lama dah kan pakcik?"
"Kat sini, bukan kali pertama jadi macam ni kan? Benda tu duk kacau orang dan memang tinggal kat sini lama dah kan pakcik?"
There, F trying to baiting the real status of the situation from a larger picture.
The guard look downward. And look at us again.
QUOTE
"Emmm.. Bangunan ni memang ada.. Kami yang kerja lama kat sini memang tau dah bilik mana dan tingkat berapa yang dia suka duduk. Bila customer check out, kami kena masuk bilik check barang-barang semua, time tu banyak kali dah pakcik sendiri terserempak. Dia pakai baju putih, rambut panjang, tapi muka pucat dah hodoh. Bila buka pintu tu dan bau wangi pelik, memang boleh rasa bulu tengkok memerang (goosebump). Selalunya bilik macam tu orang perempuan yang tak boleh sembahyang (menstruation) duduk dan tak jaga elok-elok kebersihan"
F replying:
QUOTE
"Takpalah pakcik, pakcik pi jaga dia dulu. Saya kena amik wudu', solat hajat dan buat air yassin dulu. Pastu kita tengok macam mana insyaAllah"
Handshaked, the guard go to level 10 to help supporting his friends to hold the female, and F and I performing solat sunat and preparing air yassin together.
In the middle of yassin recitation, our door rang again and I pick up the door while F continuing the recitation. It was the same guard but with another male, around 20s maybe 23 years old, dyed hair and look shocked.
QUOTE
"Dik, ni kawan yang kena rasuk tu."
I handshaked with the dude. Forgot to ask his name though. I ask him;
QUOTE
"Ha jadi macam mana dah sekarang? Kami tengah duk baca yassin, dalam 10 minit lagi siap lah pastu boleh pi tengok."
He replied;
QUOTE
"Duk macam tu lah mengilai sorang-sorang. Tak penat-penat pada tadi. Saya dengan kawan memang takut dah, mati akal nak buat macam mana"
I turned away and look at the clock, its around 12.25AM. Means it already around 30 minutes and even with 4 guards handling her, she still not shown any sign of tiredness. This is not good. I stare blankly at the wall and suddenly came up with an idea. A great one I think. lol
QUOTE
"Macam ni lah pakcik. Saya nak terus terang dengan pakcik. Ini pendapat peribadi saya."
"Abang saya ni pelajar sahaja, bukan ustaz. Dah kalau ustaz pun, tak semua reti urus hal macam ni. Tambah-tambah "dia" dah lama menetap kat sini, reti main dengan ayat Quran lagi, maksudnya "dia" bukan calang-calang."
"Jadi saya cadangkan macam ni. Apa kata pakcik telefon hospital yang terdekat, dah bagitau depa ada customer pakcik kena sawan (seizure). Jangan duk cakap pasal kena rasuk apa semua, nanti panjang cerita. Just call dan bagitau kena sawan dalam 10 minit dah, sebab apa kena taktau. Nanti depa akan dispatch ambulance and tahan kat ward. Sampai kat sana, lega sikit."

The guard look at me with wondering look.
QUOTE
"Tapi depa bukan buleh buat apa pun. Benda macam ni kena cari ustaz baru boleh jadi ok balik. Kes lepas pun kami cari ustaz pastu baru ok balik"
I saw that question coming and replied;
QUOTE
"Iya memang depa bukan boleh buat apa pun, tapi sekarang kita nak pastikan dia tak terjun bangunan tu. Andai kata saya dengan F pi cuba tapi tak jadi, kawan pakcik 4 orang tu dah tak larat dah nak pegang perempuan tu."
"Jadi sekarang kalau ambulance mai, depan akan bawa pi ke Emergency ward dan physical restrain with ubat penenang (haloperidol) kalau nampak patient jadi tak betul (psycotic) dan ada ciri-ciri untuk cederakan diri sendiri. Saya baru lepas buat practical kat hospital, sekarang tengah bercuti. Sebab tu saya suggest cara ni"

There I had to tell themselve a bit about my background to gain their trust. I continue to ask a bit more to the young chap with dyed hair;
QUOTE
"Maaf lah nak tanya, adik dengan mangsa yang kena rasuk tu waris ke macam mana? Baik saya tanya dulu sebab nanti pihak hospital akan tanya jugak"
He seems hesitated and nervous. Suddenly the guard answering on his behalf with slurred sentences. I don't know if I heard it right;
QUOTE
"Dia kawan pada tunang abang dia"
I'd still keep my calm face. I replied;
QUOTE
"Oh jadi dah bagitau waris dia ke? Orang mana dia ni?"
Looking more nervous, he replied;
QUOTE
"Dia orang Perlis kot. Mak pak dia taktau lagi, kami tak kenai pun. Baru ja jumpa..."
Sounded something was not right, but I just give a benafit of a doubt and consider that it was not my business. I did what I able to help. The guard seems to cut the akward silance of mine and saying he will go to the receptionist table to make a call to the nearest hospital.
I close the door and catch up with F to finish whatever left of recitation. Just before we finish, a loud, high pitch scream was heard till a point where the girls member of our family inside the room woke up and asked us about what happening. Not long after that, an ambulance siren was heard.
After finish, we go down to level 10 to see individually see what happened and the door was closed and no sign of attandence. We did went to receptionist and the female worker said that the female already been taken to hospital. The guard went together to hospital, and one of the young chap already check out from the suite.
Phew... I admit I felt relieved my suggestion works, at least so far. Facing a live exorsism right in front of my face is the least things that I want to experience in my life, knowing that my iman is just as thick as union layers.
After that, we get back to our room and explain throughly to F aunt and she tripped badly as she have a young daughter with ours during that moment. On that very morning, all of us checked out and the fees was only counted as 1 night. The female working understand our feeling and felt sorry for us that we had to face this kind of experience. She also mention that the building was initially built to sell it as permenant properties but the same issue were faced by the occupant making the owner decided to make it a hotel instead...
/true story.
TL;DR version : Got ghost in hotel suite, semua salah LGE.
