I watched that video, as he mentioned will only fit the GSM Nexus, if you buy the original Samsung 2000mah battery then it will come with the battery cover too. you better look careful the difference thickness.

http://www.modaco.com/topic/351040-hands-o...tended-battery/
*
You watched the video and u didn't hear he mentioned he have extended battery and used with that casing just fine at the beginning? He switched back to stock battery and casing just for the review. Try to read the comments of the video too.

Also he mentioned GSM nexus because LTE Nexus is already thicker than GSM version with stock battery if you don't already know. GSM nexus + extended battery + back cover not equal to LTE Nexus.

Anyway, just Google and I'm sure you will find whether it fits or not.

Oh ya, from the link u posted try read Jaxidian's post about his LTE version

I always use both file expert and root explorer.
Android Authority site got recommend both Solid and Astro last week. Solid looks nice but new Astro seem lag intermittent.
*
Ya, same combination here .
Root explorer for the simple root related jobs
File expert for the vast connectivity options

Guys.. go find Solid Explorer on play store, it blow any other file explorer out of water  drool.gif

Tested solid for a few minutes. Seems worthy of its name so far. Gonna test the file sharing and smb shares tomorrow. So far it does look promising

Stock speed is 1.2GHz?  hmm.gif
*
Not yet charged la bro . This is from 100% to 40% straight after charge .

Yes stock 1.2Ghz interactive cfq. Basically its about 20%~ per hour screen on. Was surfing and watching YouTube in that 3 hours . Not bad huh?

i'm running on CNA nightlies 09032012 too

i always run in conservative mode with 320mhz to 1ghz, a bit slow but still very smooth laugh.gif

gonna try to undervolt later see if its stable or not, anything need to take note of when undervolt? for desktop it is usually freeze/crash or restart, how about Gnex? hmm.gif
when u undervolt and if it become unstable, it will be the same like desktop, either freeze or crash and if u set those values along with boot, u might boot loop.

However, I'm over the stage of Undervolting ... to me it bring more harm than benefit as u don't really gain much battery from UV (based on my own experience) and if you are hit with 1 freeze/crash/reboot , then all your battery saving is gone tongue.gif

Underclocking on the other hand works better for juice saving.

Huawei quite attractive but no idea bout the phone reliability, never have friend use that. Lucky i bought Nexus 2month ago, if not regret.
*
i've use huawei X5 before and i can say its not like those chapalang china phones. The quality is almost as good as the big players. I say almost because I think they still can improve a little bit on the classy/finishing touches. But overall experience were great and superloud tongue.gif

Didn't have issue with QC also ..

Cna 0906 is the latest update from cna? Is it different with cna 3.4.1? I mean is another type of ROM or is the update of 3.4.1?
*
Most likely you are referring to CNA nightlies.

3.4.1 is a stable release. So , it is like unofficial updates to 3.4.1 with tweaks/changes that are being tested out during nightlies. Once dev/user satisfied of the feature, then it will be included into the next stable release.

CNA 3.5 changed the notification toggle to AOKP one

Not quite true . Its been defaulted to AOKP styles toggles but the previous cm styled notification still there, just disabled . So u can choose which 1 u prefer smile.gif

Where is the setting to hide navibar?
PS: Suggest to do a clean flash. I dirty flash from 3.4 end up with 2 notification bar settings sweat.gif
*
U can select the option at power menu settings . Once set, u can long hold power button to bring up the menu, then from there u can toggle your nav bar. Look for a power button at the same row with home and back button

I just bought a new case for my Gnex, but when i got home i realise the the hole at the usb slot there is too small, have to open the casing each time wanna charge/ usb transfer  sweat.gif

Are all case like this?
*
Let me guess, SGP neo hybrid casing?

A solution for u is to use generic micro USB cable rather than the original cable.

ya.. something like that.. but i already unmount it in stickmount app.
sweat.gif
already tried. close/swipe all app.
unmount, but still have the warning status..

im on CNA 3.5.0.
izzit just me got the warning?  sad.gif
*
Goto settings --> storage --> unmount USB storage
You won't get the warning if u unmount this way

However, doing this way you will get a notification saying USB storage removed and that notification cannot be removed for whatever reason . Only way I found to remove it without rebooting your phone is to fc the system ui LOL

BTW, cna don't need stickmount for otg

anybody using this software ???

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?....gesturecontrol

damn cool wei !!! much faster and cleaner than LMT. Those that likes to hide Nav bar can really make good use of this app for navigation.

Worth the 5usd it cost

Of course, android beam uses bluetooth for transfer. Isn't that the expected behavior?

Maybe I don't need it at all. Nexus is actually big enough. Not much time to spend on that too. Say say first. Always change plan one tongue.gif

You won't know until u get it tongue.gif

I've been neglecting my smaller Nexus since gotten the bigger Nexus last week. Browsing, youtubing and reading on it is really great thumbup.gif
