I've been using Paranoid, the only ROM that makes me feel good to leave stock ROM alone.

QUOTE(IwanAGP @ Sep 20 2012, 12:04 PM) It won't be higher since the voltage is the same. P=VI. So with same current from battery, higher voltage means higher consumption. I do believe power loss will b higher though since higher frequency, means more switching operation in transistor, means more power loss. Just my understanding. Haven't study computer architecture, not sure I went through EE engineering. For switching transistors, P= CV^2f where,C = capacitance V = voltage f = frequency Increasing voltage increases power consumption exponentially. Increasing frequency increases power consumption linearly. |

QUOTE(mikeeeee @ Sep 20 2012, 02:49 PM) hehe flawed And for those using SmartReflex, good to note that the calibration steps are coarser after 1GHz. For best power conservation, limit the frequency. anyway, like mengsuan explained, frequency plays a major role in power consumption thats y i always say, Under clock save you more power than Under volt |
