You're right, I missed out on all the ori units, but I bought it anyway because I'm not going out to town for sometime

I got mine on extended warranty (2 years) for an extra 50 bucks so if anything I'll refer to the place in lowyat.

as i wan buy ap, so go for white.. as someone said previous that white gnex at lowyat is 1400+, thought can get cheaper at other place..

appleip4s? s3? whatever demo unit

what would happen?

siren will go off?

Siren will not activate unless you try to detach demo unit :3
I always reboot device before mess with it ~

Nope I guess, that just a charging cable. As long you don't detach the siren cable.
If the phone 0% battery of course it will not able to boot :3

1 q, how to eject/dismount usb stick before unplug?
do i need to use some app?

on CNA 3.4.1.
es file explorer/OI file manager

you need it when comes to USB-OTG, with that application it gives USB-HOST ability for Galaxy Nexus!
