It makes me wonder why MS wouldn't launch Live over here. We have so many hardcore gamers who keep on asking ways to own every single XBox games released despite being a student or hardcore slave even in LYN alone, all the time

XBL is part of MS service, which is used by Xbox360, Win8 and winPhones

but Xbox360 console aren't

so go figures....

i doubt that you will create a MY account for the items in marketplace that is more expensive + %tax compared to SG and US accounts. Same reason why i dont like PSN MY.

Hi, sorry for bumping an old thread. I would like to know. Can a code from SG region Prepaid Card for MS Points / XBL Gold be redeemed on the so called Malaysian Xbox Live account? Please ignore my question if it has already been answered.

The plethora of contents in this so-called MY Xbox store is similar as to what the Malaysian PSN store was when it first launched. But I hope more content will be added as time goes by. Just look at what the MY PSN store has become now compared to when it was first deployed.

But one more thing is I cannot find the option to upgrade to XBL Gold membership.

How to change? got Malaysia XBL now? My XBL now currently Singapore.

I think there's a change locale section in the XBL dashboard where you can change your location. But I recommend you keep your Singapore account as there's not much content in the MY XBL and there's not even an option for you to upgrade to Gold member.

I'm just experimenting with this Malaysian XBL account by the way.

By general rule, no it does not work. However several prepaid cards of the same continent works US cards works for CA GT, however i doubt so since MY currency value fluctuate and MY Gt is rather new

If you have a long used account based in SG you won't simply create new US account just for the sake of few extra apps & slightly cheaper points.

If you have new account then it's different story

I have a secondary US account since SG contents are quite limited, plus some deals are on US/UK only. Anyway, who's playing AlphaJax on Windows Phone? Let me know and maybe can boost some achievements

Beware though, you can only change your locale once.
Anyway, don't buy MS points via MS Xbox, your credit card will get attach and unable to detach it unless you go call xbox support at SG.

Just in case, some ppl xbox acc kena hack and that fella go buy every DLC....
