Hello,

I'm having headache thinking which one is actually better between two processor cooler placing.
I'm using Cooler Master TPC 812XS

I couldn't choose which one is better, to put it horizontal or Vertical
My chassis has no fan as an intake in the front (Completely plain without any fans) but my chassis has two 120mm fan slot, which is haven't mounted with any fans.
Well, I didn't plan to put so because I want my PC to run completely silent without any unwanted noise.

So back to the point, which is better? Top of the chassis has many holes for ventilation, but front don't have any ventilation.

One more thing, if I put it vertically, will the hot air (pushes by TPC 812SX's fans) affect my graphic card temperature in any situations?
Sadly, my graphic card located very near to my processor cooler

So, any helps? Thanks

Aim the exhaust air to that many-tiny-hole as hot air are rising to the top.

Try Push Pull configuration, decrease the temperature around 1-5c

For me, I would install it vertically if it can be install that way.
Cause hot air rises thus your cooler fans pushes cold air through the fins and hot air exhaust through the top of the case.
And I would at least put one fan as an intake, maybe a PWM fan so that you could alter the RPM to reduce the noise.
It's always good to have a least some intake air flow.
Or, you could always get a XSPC Kit, that would totally silent down your PC. tongue.gif
Just my two cents, hope it helps.

What is your case brand and id?
If you have a grill hole at the rear, its best to have the cpu heatsink cooler facing out that exit instead of the small hole.
