When i go to cnn to watch a video, first it will ask me to tap press to enable flash to play. This is good because it's a security measure so that flash doesn't auto load because flash is extremely popular amongst hackers to get your pc infected with malware/viruses.

But if you know the site is legit like cnn, you can press tap to confirm to play the flash on the site.

It isn't WanamLite custom rom but the Firefox browser itself that have Flash embedded in it. You can play website flash videos even if you're on stock rom or didn't use WanamLite rom. Just download the browser from Google Play market.

Back in business ! With an app to sim unlock your GS3 (to use any other network operator).

A little background first. I bought my gs3 2 monthes ago. It was sim locked, but I didn't care as I read there was an app to unlock it. Unfortunately, what I didn't know at that time is that this method was not behaving the same way as official sim unlock method. And as you might know, a few weeks ago, starting from LG6 rom, Samsung added checks to prevent unofficial lock methods, that would relock your device upon each reboot. So I took my favorite decompiler and started looking for a workaround. And here it is : "GalaxSim Unlock".

Now I won't lie to you. I won't tell you it will unlock your phone forever, as I can't say for sure. I won't enter into technical details, but this app doesn't make all the changes made with buying an official unlock code (at least, not yet). Why ? Because I honestly don't know what those changes are. So Samsung might add some checks in future roms that could probably relock the phone. Or they won't.
One thing for sure : as of now, this app does more than any other manual or automatic methods available, so your device won't relock with any currently available roms (post lg6, Jb leaks...).
So apart from buying an official code, that's probably your best chance to unlock your gs3 for now.

Would like to seek some assistance regarding the s3 phone.
I bought the s3 phone in msia now using in aus using aus telco microsim card.

I can make and receive calls. Wifi also ok. However I cannot seem to access the internet via the mobile data. Is this due to the different baseband issue? Please advise if there's a workaround solution to this. Thanks.

noise is very high when ISO is >800... this is bcz.. most of the phones wont go higher than ISO 800. S3 has a max ISO of 1600 in Auto settings.. when things get really dark, then it will pump the ISO above 800 and that's where the noise comes out.

in Auto settings, the maximum shutter speed is only 1/17 to avoid handshake i guess. Hence, if u wanna take a less noise low light camera, u can either try HDR, or u can use night mode.

in night mode, max ISO is 800 while the max shutter speed is 0.5sec.. which is 3 stops of light in advantage at the same ISO. 3 stops of lights means a lot of difference. but be careful of handshake.

Hey guys, I just had a very strange problem with my S3 today.

For some reason, the battery was going down really really fast even though I wasn't even using it.
I checked the apps that were running, but there was nothing that was running.
Even in the battery stats, nothing seemed out of the ordinary.

I left for school at 6am and left my phone in my room fully charged at 100%.

Then around 2.30pm i came home and my phone was left with 28%.

I checked the battery stats at this point but nothing seemed weird.

I rebooted the phone but the battery was still draining at a rate of 1% every 4 minutes.

I'm very sure that I did not leave mobile data, bluetooth, NFC, or wifi on while i was away.

I'm also very sure that i did not leave any apps running in the background.



After getting worried, I decided to turn the phone off and reinsert the battery. This seemed to solve the problem.

This has never happened to me before.

I was just wondering if anyone had experienced this before or has any idea what went wrong

incorrect.. only switch to manual mode when you cant achieve/get the pictures u intended with Auto Mode for S3.
cz this saves up time if auto mode works well.

i was trying to figure out whats taking up my internal memory and saw these:
/sdcard/.thumbnails (474MB)
/sdcard/DCIM/.thumbnails (1.3GB)

Does anyone have these high amount of GB used for thumbnails? I am not even sure if they are duplicates.

I am using x-plore as my file explorer. Not sure if they are created by it or other programmes. Do you think its safe to delete them?

In 2 hours of usage yesterday night Wanam V3.0 hung 2 times while using built-in internet browser & Facebook respectively. Flashed Omega V19 XXDLI1 this morning 2 hrs ago, so far having facing any issue yet like Wanam V3.0, will see how it goes.

While using Wanam XXDLI1, i facing hung when doing internet browser & facebook, i try repeat the same in Omega XXDLI1, so far never hung or fc, but i read through the Omega thread too, certain users did face numerious fc in some apps. However as i said i just using the Omega rom since 2 hrs ago, still early to judge it is a stable rom.
