i guess i know wat u mean. i have this Washed out colour on my S3 . it happened 4 times or so. i sent for an exchange of display on satuday. it happened again on Sunday. so i guess it is something of a software glitch. but it is much better than before

Added on September 11, 2012, 10:55 amnope doesnt do anything. i changed the LCD panel last weekend. the colour seems to be more contrast than before. but the same thing happened on sunday again. that photo was taken after the LCD panel replacement

btw, the guy at samsung (near federal highway) is super nice. like his service and the way he treats me (or all the other customers too). i dont even need to Q up to collect my device, he asked me to go straight to his counter for collection

or use USB jig? i heard that u can force it back to Download mode or something like tat? never used it before. no harm trying. search for more info

try the one near federal highway. they provide better service i assume. i went there on saturday morning at 9am, i was the 2nd customer. the guy asked whether i needed the phone on the same day, i said yes. he then tried to squeeze time to repair my phone and i got it back on the same day at 1pm (they work half day on saturdays).

also i had no prove on my problem as it happens occasionally, but still he fixed it for me on the spot. very impressed with their service and attitude.

head to that SC and try ur luck, i think it should be fine.

P/S: i unrooted my phone and used triangle away to reset the binary counter. however i have a tonne loads of Root apps on my phone they didn't seem to bother though.

is that an official SC service center? are u able to contact them directly?
as i know, i wanted to contact the service center on Federal Highway, the only way is to call to the call center and they will check my phone's status and see whether it is up for collection. i couldnt contact the SC directly

it's not a service center. they are just resellers. get back ur phone and send it to the SC yourself. Samsung SCs wont take up to 3 days to repair the phone. normally they do it on the spot.

they have no right to charge u anything. if they charge u, its a scam!

accidents happen with or without common sense.

has HTC rolled out the Jelly Bean update already?

i have it n i have to say it is awesome. i wanted this so that i can mount it onto the dashboard as i can use the aircon as a cooler for it. now my phone's temperature won't exceed 33 degrees
