I thought I have made it clear that I no longer accept even the slight flame that disrupts the forum. I have given 2 guys a week off and the forum was so much quieter. Take this as a warning and your next offence would be a week off.

I'm still trying to get FnF for serious car related stuff and removing fanboy topics. It's a work in progress. I'm sure there isn't 44x2500 = 110000 post on serious car related stuff in the past 44 versions of Inspira topics. As long as we still have conversations like these, it just shows that we do need to clean up house.

I was wondering when the topic starter is going to respond. The decision has not been made but looking at this and all topics more than 1 version long, eventually it deviates into private chatroom. We can't stop fanboyism but nothing stirs up a hornet's nest more than a flamer in a fanboy topic. Some might argue that it is easier to get information by having specific manufacturer topics but I don't see how 45 versions of Inspira (not just targeting Inspira but also anything with more than 1 version) is going to help anybody as it will overwhelm the search function.

Look back at the few replies to the 4B11 question just before you posted. Is this how you want your Inspira topic to continue? Is that standard fine by you? How about you trying to moderate your topic for once?

Before I send out further warnings here, why don't you try your hand at moderation and I would like to see your standards. Use the report function and tell me who you want to provide warning and who should be suspended based on Goldfries announcement of Ops Fast and Furious?

Why I say these topics are becoming a chatroom because I don't receive reports for trolling because most of you guys are 'kawan TT'.

So, how many of these kawan TT can you dish out warnings and suspensions?

Added on September 12, 2012, 9:49 pmNothing happened. I have asked Pip_x to help me moderate this topic but he made a joke out of it. In fact he joked all the way to another topic, something which I have already warned you guys against doing.

This is where things get confusing. On one hand I have members complaining that the FnF thread is turning into another kopitiam with insufficient moderation. On the other hand, I have members asking 'Why so serious...?'.

To be fair then, I tried experimenting by asking the topic starter to help me moderate the topic and I would like to see how people will do my job that some say I'm not doing enough (or too much). Let's say I'm lending pip_x a pair of my shoes to walk in. Unfortunately, not only did he reject it, he made a joke out of it. What more do I have to say?

Sorry for your lack of attention. This is not work nor am I transferring my work. If you think I'm transferring my work, then you are accusing ALL moderators of transferring our work since all moderators rely on the report button to direct our attention to a certain topic/post that needs moderation. How else could we possibly moderate so many topics at once. The report button is made for that purpose and every member is actually a deputy to the moderator as all members can post a report and it goes straight to the moderator of the topic.

I just made it clear to pip_x to report and moderate his topic since he was the topic starter. Unfortunately, he either made of joke of it or he didn't know how to use the Report button. You be the judge.

I don't think they have selected anybody yet. Tengku Mahaleel is not all that bad. His hands were tied and there was nothing much he can do. During one of the Proton Supplier dinners, he made a statement that he saw a lot of expensive cars driven by the suppliers and yet the suppliers are still complaining that Proton is squeezing them for lower prices. I guess he wasn't happy with the suppliers but there was little he could do since he is only the CEO. In public listed companies like Proton, the Board of Directors sets the direction, the CEO just executes.

The decision to purchase lotus and augusta would not come from him. The Tun M's people and of course, Tun M himself, were the ones to blame. As the CEO, he only overseas the daily operations of Proton. He can't even choose his own suppliers.

There are higher levels at play then, just like now. The board of directors appoints the CEO and deputy CEO. It is not someone you promote from the ranks. They just bring in whoever want and appoint them CEO.

I didn't say he wasn't. He had to be otherwise he wouldn't be the CEO. What I said was that the bad decision to purchase Lotus and Augusta didn't come from him. Those had to came from the board of directors. Just like how the new BoDs just fired Lotus CEO after they took over Proton.
