aww.. dilemma now... planning to buy Y500 in 2 weeks when i go back to malaysia for holiday... but dont know when or IF Y500 will come with the new 750m or anot.... hmmm...

any ideas when will the new Y400 with the 750m coming to malaysia? n is it expected to have the same RRP as previous Y400 or sure more expensive??

most likely we'll be able to SLI the 750m right if they release the ultrabay GC later? then the power will be awesome!

Yea, most probably they wanna clear out all the old stock before they bring in the new good stuff. Otherwise no one will wanna buy the older models. I was already on the page n started the post asking when the new 750m will come, but they confirmed wont be out by this pc fair... =(

Been to the pc fair today in KLCC, searched the entire floor for new y400/750m, but not yet arrive... even old y400/650m completely out of stock!... mostly on display is the y500/dual 650m

PS: And all selling Y500 at regular retail price!!! only promo is free upgrade to 8gb, extend warranty

Yea, cannot trust the guy on the phone until u see the product yourself bro. few days ago i called thundermatch in digital mall, he say lowyat branch got y400/750m, made me so happy, den after that called lowyat to confirm, actually is 650m... sad case haha...


This is the same seller that offered me a few days ago, apparently the situation is distributor got stock n will be coming to his shop on thurs, he say can book for me, den two hours later, he pm me again, say no more stock from distributor. i think he didnt get any of the early stocks...

what price if with all those free accesssory n stuff?

u can check the serial number before purchasing to make sure its local set. go to http://support.lenovo.com/en_MY/product-se...us/default.page? then key in the serial number. it will show u the location of the device, if local set, will show 'malaysia' n some other stuff haha

of course alot cheaper bro, the mo del they offer is with freeDOS, yours comes with win8, so sure got big price difference

freeDOS means doesnt come with operating system bro aka. no windows. so u have to install windows yourself, which IF u buy ori version, its gonna end up costing the same

wow, just saw the white colour z500 in devour's page. quite nice the colour. y they dont make it with blue backlight? then it can be the opposite brother of the y500 series

so far the z400 model comes with choices of i5 or i7, but i see z500 only got i5 model. anynews if it will come with i7 as well?
