can anyone guide me on how to format this laptop and installing it on a new SSD?

because i dont have a copy of windows 8 single language

is there no official copy of windows 8 single language? so that whenever i format i just use that and update it to automatically update my win 8?

i got it for 55k (Philippines Peso)

i always have a clean install every 6 or so months.
makes everything fast and reliable.

we all have the drivers, the only thing missing is the OS CD which you currently cannot download because its a manufacturers copy.

ill check around and update you guys.

IF NOT

go to settings (windows key and click on your username ) choose "change account picture"

click on "wireless"

turn on your WiFi

did anyone change their WiFi cards? Ive been getting weak signals on the atheros. I would like to change it to Intel Condorpeak or even better the Bigfoot WiFi cards

i did update drivers, compared to my gt780 and gt683 which both have condorpeaks, the atheros in my girlfriends acer m5 and my lenovo y500 is just not up to par with intel WiFi cards

that sucks a lot >.< I'll wait for a BIOS mod for lenovo y500.

The start up of this laptop is by far the best, iv'e been getting boot times from cold boot just 5 -7 seconds ( impressive because I'm using the HDD that came with it) almost the same time as my MSI gt780 with SSD.

Only thing that's weird is that it doesn't pass by the BIOS start up

i was just wondering. Can we use the Pci port to plug in other devices such as firewire cardbus?

Was thinking of this because i have an audio interface that needs firewire 800 ..

any ideas would help
