Hello, Regarding the Optimum MDR, how well does it fares against compounding e.g. Megs Ultimate Compound? Does it corrects paint in the process, or purely for removing mineral deposit? I have Ultimate Compound now, but somehow it's not too effective for removing water spot. Thank You This post has been edited by capiche: Jan 31 2017, 02:17 PM

QUOTE(ZeroSP @ Jan 31 2017, 02:54 PM) Just purely removing mineral deposits and water spots, no correction being done like any other compounds. It is similar to CarPro Spotless, but it isn't acidic based like Spotless that is. Generally these products is for quick removal of water spots on any corrected vehicles, sealed/waxed/coated so that you don't need to correct the paint again (which in the process remove the LSP layer you applied) Hello Bro, Thanks for the reply. So can I assume that it's better (Due to chemical characteristic) in removing waterspot? I have previously used a combination of Megs Ultimate Compund with ColorX.. it does improve, but not 100% (Hand application though, not machine).. So I was looking for something which is specifically for waterspot removal. Thank you. This post has been edited by capiche: Feb 1 2017, 09:11 AM
