Just a question, why ".tk" ?

Hi there, we are just starting up and we are trying our best to minimize our cost without decreasing the quality of our hosting. Don't worry much about the domain name, as we are planning to go for .my or .com.my domain in the future.

Hi, sorry, we don't quite get what you meant by unlimitted domain. Can you be more specific?

He mean your hosting can support unlimited domain or not

You are allowed to host 5 domains per account

then just open a few account to get unlimited.. hehe

I'm quite curious about minimizing the cost.. how come u have what it needs
to open a hosting for free, but cannot buy a domain name.. hmm...

Hi there, our initial planning was to register a .my domain, but as you know .my domain costs a lot and we want to minimize the cost, we decided to start from .tk domain. Meanwhile, we plan to expand to .my within 2 months.

There's .my promotion during merdeka.

Edit: It seems that apache can serve ASP.net pages as well with Mod_AspDotNet.

By the way, a question for you Zixes: How do you generate revenue? Just curious.

Hi there, thank you for your interest in Zixes Hosting, but we are sorry to tell you that currently we don't plan to provide asp.net as we think PHP and MySQL are more common. But, stay tuned with Zixes, we might include that in the future if we get good receptions on current linux hosting.

is it free for malaysian only or others?

how would u verify the user its coming from malaysia? IP checking? its actually instant activation over email right?
there is actually on sign up form, the drop down field for choosing which country as well. u might consider remove the option from the sign up form.

The main concern on .tk domain is free of charge, for .my and .com.my it require SSM and I/C registration. Technically, the company can shut down the site anytime without any responsibility.

I have a same thinking, if a hosting company cant even purchase a domain, how can the company offer long term services?

Hi there, if you say so, how are we able to have our server going on and provide free hosting? I guess that shows greater permenant establishment and commitment that we will drive to offer long term service. And, for your information, apart of saving the cost, the main reason we start our business from .tk domain is because we are still in the process of incorporating our company. Please give us some times, we will definitely register a .my domain in one month time. Hope you understand that.

No Ads or Earn Money

Thanks for reply. Actually all question begin with .tk domain, if the domain is .com surely it will not create lot of concern.

how are we able to have our server going on and provide free hosting?, no one know how long the services will last, so user can only judge a site through webdesign, support, and domain name.

Sometime it can be very tricky lesson to choose a nice domain, most user prefer .com domain. If the domain is less than 5 letter or dictionary domain, it sound more easy to remember.

So what is your business model actually? Will you in the future add banner to websites like tripod and angelfire did sometime ago?

Are you telling your own experience with Zexies?

this is big server farm. if u web hosting using this datacenter, cpanel error will kick in.

Install wordpress, got link to hostinger web hosting. i dont know if Zexies ihave any connections with hostinger.

Zexies support look very fast, open ticket replay less than an hour. u try yourself la. it free hosting what.

Well, support reply within an hour is quite impressive to be honest, friend. I have experienced worst than that haahhaa...

Apparently TheZixes use YouHosting(which is Hostinger suddivision) as their provider, or rather TheZixes is reseller for YouHosting product. Go here and tell me which YouHosting plan look similar to TheZixes plan. I think this partly answer the business model. You don't need a return if you don't invest anything don't you? Well not exactly true since TheZixes did offer customer support

Few thing about reseller plan that you should beware are uptime and resource(CPU/RAM) problem. Most of the time they oversell excessively and their server will be slow and riddle with spammer/abuser.

the problem when you have spammer with the same I.P address as your website is Google or any search engine will blacklist your site too, this isn't going to be good for SEO. Email from your website also wouldn't reach any email service(gmail/yahoo/outlook etc). Free hosting going to attract spammer eventually, I hope TheZixes can somehow avoid it.

TheZixes free hosting still working?

perhaps no, their website is not accessible.

The cpanel and mine hosted website still running. So weird...

Because they are just the reseller. Your website is not hosted by them but they just sold you the package.

This free hosting has closed down..i have hosted my domain name at TheZixes..currently i am not able to remove the domain name and switch it to the new domain hosting due to theZixes is not longer accessable ..what can I do to remove the domain hosting from TheZixes?
