How do I uninstall Microsoft Visual Studio .NET Enterprise Architect 2003 - English? Whenever I uninstall it from the Add or Remove Programs, this Visual Studio .NET setup comes up.

Option 1: Visual Studio .NET Prerequisites
Option 2: Visual Studio .NET
Option 3: Product Documentation
Option 4: Service Releases

It says in the description under option 2 - "Repair, reinstall, or install additional Visual Studio .NET features. You can also uninstall Visual Studio .NET.

When I choose Option 2, InstallShield pops up and say,

Command line parameters:
/L language ID
/S Hide initialization dialog. For silent mode use: /S /v /qn
/V parameters to MsiExec.exe
/UA <url to InstMsiA.exe>
/UW <url to InstMsiW.exe>
/UM <url to msi package>

Then an, "OK" button. That's it. I hit OK and everything closes but the uninstallation process was never done. How do I resolve this? I need to get rid of 2003 to make way for my new Visual Studio .NET 2005

try installing the new version only..
i think it will remove the older version when installing
if not, manually delete the older version

If its that easy, I could've done it already. Anyway, the same thing appears for a re-installation.

InstallShield pops up and say,

Command line parameters:
/L language ID
/S Hide initialization dialog. For silent mode use: /S /v /qn
/V parameters to MsiExec.exe
/UA <url to InstMsiA.exe>
/UW <url to InstMsiW.exe>
/UM <url to msi package>

Then, it could be your IDE installer during installation did not correctly write the location of the uninstall script into the registry. (or the uninstall script file is corrupted)

Try to reinstall the whole thing again and try installing back and then uninstall.

If above won't work. Then, it could mean your installer is kaput.

Try to look for a uninstall script in your .NET 2003 installed path.

And then, use the dos prompt to call uninstall command of installshield with the certain command and the uninstall script file path as the parameter. (check with installshield web site)

Well, yup, my advice is you need to manoeuver your way to uninstall it.

No guarantee it will work well and will not cause your system to be unstable. I will not be responsible if your system crash or whatsoever.
