My n00bie using DS3 controller

370z tuned version:
(a) Chase 12 cars = done. Not that hard
(b) Gold in 7:48 is hard Clean race I manage 7:56 so far (Bronze). Dirty race (bang wall) I manage 7:53

Lamborghini 550pp
All set to 550pp, using Gallardo '08 with some tuning. This is the most stable out of few cars I tried.
Max speed 320km/h
TC=1
SRF=On
ABS=1
the rest all off

All gold, except Nurb ring. Best time (dirty race) 7:07 but still 2nd.
The Miura at 557pp is really fast.

I manage to gold it on another account, will try with this account later.

n00bie Tip:
- Cut four continuous corners in the starting
- Really race 9 9 and draft whenever possible.
- Late brake very slightly to gain advantage at every corner.
- Must manage to draft 1st car to overtake at long-straight. Yes, this is possible to reach 2nd before the long straight and close enough to 1st car.
- Else must manage to draft the 2nd car (up to 314km/h), to sling shot you to chase the first car at the long-straight, and very very late braking to overtake 1st car at 2nd last corner (before pit entry).

Some pointers: Must reach 4th before the Carousel and already see the far-tail of 3rd car.

LOL Another challenge. 12 cars is do-able even without perfect lap.

I need tips for the TT using DS3. I saw how the #1 fler do 7:21, but he is using wheel.
And I can't drive if TC=Off.

Last night I tried TC=3, better control, but slower speed already. 7:55 only.

I guess a perfect lap & TC=1 may do-able for me, maybe hitting 7:47.xxx

Yours is slow load. What you say is true, if PSN online, it loads slower into GT mode.
What I do is, do not auto online PSN.
Loading click No to login
On the menu, click No to login
Then click GT mode and login

My loading takes about 5 minutes into GT mode.
Loading seasonal screen is faster, like <30 seconds.
Using tmnUt sCreamyx 1Mb package, of course no other downloading/torrent/sharing.

Then TT is lower down to 513pp, which slows down a lot.

After this, can try the seasonal a-spec for Lambo 550pp, also Nurb ring. Very difficult also.

Can share your setup ?

I tried GT Planet, but the car seems to slide easily, I try re-tweak to my own.
So far still 7:55.

If on dirty lap (out of line once only ) I can get 7:52.x (silver)

New OCD, go collect it for 1960's cars. including those 2D, GT40 (can get from A/B spec grinding).
Finally got my AC 427.

Kei car, I use the Daihatsu OFC. So far only got time finish 2 tracks:
- Rome
- Tokyo kart track

Not that difficult, I can finish with slightly lower PP also.

The last race, I tried with 340pp (set max speed 140km/h), also need few tries and only get 1st during last few corners of 5th lap (Tokyo kart track) Somemore I curi cut out-of-line for some corners.
The Midget II is fast.

Add my LYN nick in PSN. I'll give you Level 24 ticket, which only spawn 3 type of cars: FGT, F2007, F2010.

You may need to copy savegame into USB drive as backup, if you want to grind the ticket for non-FGT.

Mine 2J also, I set at lowest 446pp , until engine oil degraded 338pp. Grind credit for the OCD list of million-CR cars

To buy the current entire set of OCD, will need 40M+ CR

Gather Driders ? Looks nice, but performance can't match with Mugen Motul Civic Si race car.
I got it earlier from UCD. Tried to use it in Honda events, but lose out in the end switch back to Civic

TT Gold London using GT-R in <57 sec is not that hard.

10 lap Suzuka, using JGTC, is not that hard also.
3 lap Nurb, I use Ferrari Enzo, all default, max speed 350, not that hard too. Leading #1 by end of 2nd lap.
10 lap Spa, not hard also, using Chaparal 2J with 684pp. Lead by 6/7 laps. I think using other cars can win also, if manage tyres properly.
(the above 3 races, all with variable weather and tyre wear)

TT with C7 in Nurb ring the car slides so easily. Even my roti canai on plate also doesn't slide that easily...

After trying for 2+ hours ... using DS3 ... I manage to get down to 7:52.0 Need to squeeze 2 seconds ... On a good run, I can squeeze 1 second from sector 1, but DQ later...
All aids off, except TC=1 and ABS=1.

I don't have driving wheels

Well, not that I need the ticket or what, just want to gold it only.

Finally Gold the Corvette C7 prototype on Nurb ring. Did a 7:48.4
Settings: TC=8, ABS=1, the rest all off.

Slow down and brake early on the last few S-corners after the final long straight. Otherwise can cut another 1-2 seconds.

Did the same run on another account and get 7:46.4
