Haha yeah toscana was the easiest among the bunch.

First within 3 laps. And just cruise through the final two

YAYY IT IS AVAILABLE!

your disc is R3?
*
Yes R3... It is available!

Quick review (Without modification):

Drive: Like any of the GT500 cars. Very neutral, very slight over steer (which is good).

Sound: Also like any other GT500 cars, very generic and er, boring lol.

I wanted to get the BRZ but I already got GT86 Concept, 86, and FR-S

The GTR looks good though. Moreover, she is a winner. Gonna buy it tomorrow hehe

I really really really really really hope that PD decides to scan Sepang International Circuit and include it in their game.

smile.gif

Fat chance.

OR, bring in some iconic race tracks (I know Silverstone is on its way yay) to prolong the lifespan of the game.

IMHO more cars > upgrades.

Then you will understand what each car has to offer. you may have 2 cars of the same performance points but they perform differently on different track/ condition

I fully agree with the above. Even after you have got all the gold you still need a lot of practice. That will depend on how serious are you into this game. Just like any other games, the longer time you spent on it, the better you get. It's the online race that you need all the skills learn to win or the seasonal games where time is crucial so how you take a corner will determine your time.
*
Also I learn that driving technique during time trial/ qualifying and during online race is pretty different.

actually you need the upgrades so that you can fine tune the car.
*
Correct. But what I did back then was just blind upgrading. Get car, upgrade alllllllllll available upgrades. Which then I found out that I may be driving another car with the same PP but could do faster lap time.

But that's just me. tongue.gif

For eg.

I can have a better lap time with a M3 CSL 500pp than a S2000 500pp. Weird huh hehehe

QUOTE(Silenced @ Sep 28 2012, 03:04 PM)
ya, during qualifying/tt you can afford to spin or burn ur rubber like no tomorrow but in race u need to take care of ur tyres n 1 spin can put u 10 seconds behind ur opponent
*
Lol. That too. But what I meant is the racing line to take. Wide line, or narrow line. Early apex or late apex etc etc.

895PP FGT Spa Francorchamps Time Trial is fun!

Long time never drive FGT, and they drive soooooooo differently from the F2007 although they may look pretty identical lol

Yeah FGT is a bit tough on game pad. Surely steering wheel helps a lot.

I golded it with everything off and ABS 1

another noob qustion..
how it feel if i play using racing wheels g27..??

affordable or not??
*
Hi there. Playing with the wheel is of course a lot more fun as compared with the ds3.

How much is your budget? I'm planning to swap my G27 with Apiga rack with something else. If you price is right, I may consider letting them go. smile.gif

The new time trail is pretty tough.

I wonder how they can get such good lap times with a 500pp comfort soft tyre car

TT Gold London using GT-R in <57 sec is not that hard.

10 lap Suzuka, using JGTC, is not that hard also.
3 lap Nurb, I use Ferrari Enzo, all default, max speed 350, not that hard too. Leading #1 by end of 2nd lap.
10 lap Spa, not hard also, using Chaparal 2J with 684pp. Lead by 6/7 laps. I think using other cars can win also, if manage tyres properly.
(the above 3 races, all with variable weather and tyre wear)

TT with C7 in Nurb ring sweat.gif the car slides so easily. Even my roti canai on plate also doesn't slide that easily...
*
GTR London <57 sec is not hard

But trying to catch up with the leaders is insane.

After hundreds of laps, I only managed 52.849
