Any sifus can recommend me a racing wheel stand and where to get them? Thanks smile.gif

my friend use this : http://wheelstandpro.com.

I tested it and it can withstand even the big TGT.

Just make sure you buy the T300 bundle with T3PA pedal set because the stock 2 pedal set is just too awful

but if not mistaken the warranty is like only 1 month or so.... and from amazon reviews seems like thrustmaster's reliability is very questionable....
*
Well, with electronics is like a lucky draw in regards to the thing will work flawlessly.

I’m using a 4 year old T500RS right now and my DFGT (the original DFGT, not the newer version) still works eventho that wheel has been used since GT4

New to Gran Turismo Sport however I’d really like to experience the full racing cockpit experience, therefore decided to purchase the Playseat Gran Turismo from playseatstore.com. Shipping costs €24, way more affordable than Singapore shops selling after conversion. Can check that out.

Wheel comes from Impluse, the Thrustmaster T300RS GT w/ TH8A shifter comes with full warranty from Sin. AFAIK, no official distri for Thrustmaster in My.

Just got my GT Sport R2 Collector's Edition on Friday ... after so long  yawn.gif

[attachmentid=9326814]

Really like the hardcover A4 sized APEX book (magazine, it's called), quite hefty, weighing around 2kg; it made up the bulk of the box.

Nice! Look cool for the collection!

For those of you guys with a wheel ... in your opinion what sort of improvement does it give you over controller? For e.g., like if a controller you can do a random lap at XXmin, with wheel it'll be 5%, 10%, 15% faster?
*
This is my view on this matter -

The equipment that you use only contribute, like, half of the factor that makes you quicker. I personally know people who use controller which is faster than people who use a wheel in games.

For me what matters is your driving technique (braking points, driving line, throttle application, car setups) for making you go faster on the track

I’ve no doubt that’s true, but you also can’t deny that for the same person, wheel will (should?) result in quicker times, but I’m wondering how much quicker?
*
To quantify how much quicker is a bit difficult, but for me the difference between using a controller and a wheel is like plus minus 2-3 seconds provided that i use the correct driving technique.

The advantage of Using a controller, you can turn the car quickly side to side; meanwhile when you use a wheel you can better control the gas and brakes of the car IMO

evoHahn thanks. I think i’m just frustrated cos once I turn ASM off, GR3 cars are squirrelly as f*rk on controller, especially on tracks like suzuka that have long partial throttle partial steering S curves. It’s so difficult to even keep the car on track without spinning off into the sand.

If I turn ASM on and all the other aids then sure it’s OK, but then ............... hmm.gif
*
The S-es part in suzuka, habe to be very patient on the gas.... even when using a wheel.

* i had a wheel but miss it dearly everytime i switches on for GT sport. Sold it off as back then couldnt commit financially to get a driving seat.
i could stretch and get a wheel and seat now, but then again, could not commit the time to play..... sigh.
*
Ooo why did you get the seat but sell the wheel?

Is it just me, or are the cars super hard to drive now?

man, without TC at 2, I cant drive most FR cars..

I have to say the driving in GTS is really tedious
*
I think the driving dynamics is similar to GT6 but the road tyres are just liek driving on ice. But still not full sim though
