GT6 is still couple of years away, depending what platform it will be released; PS3 or PS4. The latest GT5 is specII.

Hi there. Playing with the wheel is of course a lot more fun as compared with the ds3.

How much is your budget? I'm planning to swap my G27 with Apiga rack with something else. If you price is right, I may consider letting them go.

did you guys notice the online race sometime have semi transparent car and you can drive thru them and no bumping at all.

i notice when the room have weaker signal bar.

and if the room have good signal, those car wont semi at all.

i think is because you ram into one of the cars or they ram into ppl's car

I'm not sure if that's the new update. The other day I was playing online and there were other cars that can just overtake me without banging me. In the process their car became lighter color.

Anyone have the same experience ?

I haven't played online yet after the update. But before this the ghost car only occurs when you're being lapped by lead cars. Now it occurs in same lap? That means you cannot kiss-kiss the bumper a bit?

If not mistaken, you can't do that anymore. Even blocking the fast car from overtaking you seems like history already. Maybe a lot of people complaint that's why they change it. So being a reality game don't exist anymore. There are pro and con for this new changes. Doesn't matter if you are behind or infront when you start, just overtake and not get any knock or what so ever. No need overtaking skills anymore.

I agree with you about taking reality out of the game.

Hope there's a new update that has an option for this ghost car thingy.

i experience it b4, it depend on your host connection also, if the bar is 0 then the car will look like ghost mode, and if the host room connection is superb then the car will act like normal...i try, i notice this change already, my previous post here no body reply, so i explore my self, now i know the problem liaw.
btw i play with my fren with good connection no problem at all.

I think I found the reason behind this transparent/ghost car thing in online racing.

In the Room, under "Event Settings", you'll find "Disable Collisions" option. The description says: "Disable collisions between cars. When set to ON, other cars will become transparent and you will not be able to collide with them. The slipstream effect will also be disabled."

I still prefer to kiss-kiss bumper a bit...
