Heard tat prenatal education is good for baby 's brain development, so i m curious now, anybody did it?

Thx in advanced smile.gif

The baby listens to their parents voice as you speak with your husband. If you like, you can play soft music and let the baby enjoy. What results does this bring, nobody knows. I dont think there's any scientific research that prove it does anything. I could be wrong but you need to Google.

I believe in the Mozart effect. Fetuses can hear and listen as early as 16th weeks, and by playing happy classical tunes will stimulate brain development. Why Mozart? I guess that's because his works are mostly cheerful.

A friend of mine shared that her firstborn was not as observational as her 2nd child. During her 2nd pregnancy, she listened to alot of classical songs, she believes that's the reason which induced the brain development in her 2nd child.

Chanting or saying prayers may calm your baby too, if you believe it works. But your baby definitely can recognize your voice and your DH's voice so do talk to him or her always and sing/ hum to him/her. It is afterall the special bonding between mommy and baby.

I used Baby Plus (www.babyplus.com). It's a prenatal education system, can be use from Week 18 onwards.

My sister bought it in Singapore, apparently it's very popular there. Initially my DH and I are quite skeptical whether it really helps to develop baby to learn before they are being borned. Then we saw the positive results of BabyPlus used on 3 babies (my sisters and my cousin). They are calmer, alert, active and intelligent (in terms of learning curve). The oldest baby is 18 months. So, we use it for our newborn too.

We see positive results in our newborn and even the Nursery staff commented that he is more alert and calmer (less crying) than other newborns, especially when it comes to sleeping, feeding and bathing time.

I do believe that babies in the womb can react to different kinds of sounds. For example, when the baby hears my wife talk to her, she will respond by kicking. When my wife put's on some Jazz, she says that she can feel the baby move in her womb. But the best response is when I put on ACDC, Whitesnake and other Rock music, my wife says it's like she's dancing in side. hahahaha

Babies like music. Mozart is good for baby's brain development. My baby kicks when he hears certain music, especially piano.

We cannot use our usual thinking and apply to baby inside mummy tummy. The fetus hear noise everyday especially the mother heart beat.

This is the reason baby like white noise when baby comes out to the world.
