Three MRT lines in KL by 2020, says SPAD, has anything started on line #1 yet ?

Tempoh percubaan MRT bermula 1 Oktober

KUALA LUMPUR: Perkhidmatan Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) akan memulakan tempoh percubaan pada 1 Oktober, kata Pengarah Operasi dan Pengurusan Aset Mass Rapid Transit Corporation Sdn Bhd (MRT Corp), Mahmood Razak.
Laluan Sungai Buloh-Kajang (SBK) akan memulakan tempoh percubaan selama tiga bulan mulai tarikh tersebut, sebelum pelancaran rasmi operasi pada 31 Dis.
"Fasa pertama Laluan MRT SBK dari Sungai Buloh ke Semantan, hampir siap menjelang Oktober ini, berikutan semua kerja-kerja struktur awam untuk stesen bertingkat telah selesai.
"Kemajuan Laluan MRT SBK secara keseluruhannya sebanyak 86.52 peratus sehingga akhir Jun," katanya kepada Bernama.
Kemudahan sokongan, termasuk tempat letak kenderaan dan bas pengantara akan memulakan operasinya pada masa itu untuk memberi perkhidmatan kepada orang ramai.
Mahmood berkata MRT Corp menyediakan 14 kemudahan tempat letak kenderaan pelbagai tingkat dan tempat letak kereta terbuka bagi Laluan MRT SBK yang sepanjang 51 kilometer.
"Akan terdapat 8,000 ruang tempat letak kenderaan yang boleh didapati di sepanjang laluan itu, dengan 1,200, masing-masing di stesen Sungai Buloh dan Kajang. Selebihnya di stesen di sepanjang laluan tersebut," katanya.
Mahmood berkata bas pengantara Rapid Rail Sdn Bhd akan meliputi kawasan dalam lingkungan tiga kilometer di sekitar stesen dengan kekerapan 10 minit, tertakluk kepada keadaan lalu lintas.
"Bagi fasa pertama, sebanyak 140 buah bas akan digunakan untuk meliputi kawasan sekitar Stesen Sungai Buloh hingga Stesen Semantan. "Bagi keseluruhan laluan, sebanyak 300 buah bas akan disediakan. Banyak aspek diambil kira untuk memenuhi keperluan pengangkutan awam yang bersepadu," katanya.

I think this thread title should change. Definitely it wouldn't be completed 3 MRT line by 2020. MRT 2 still hasn't go into tender process yet.

So everything should be up n running by 2025.
