Ferrets are not actually smelly... though they do intend to have a little musky odour. And they generally dont bite... The smell tends to get lesser as they grow. I owned a pair, a sable male and an albino. I kept them in my room with me but in the toilet la.. At first the smell was quite bad coz they are young and the ventilation wasn't that good. As they grow the smell got lesser and i have installed a ventilation fan. After that it was great!

Thanks... The first pic is the girl sleeping on top of the male and nimbling his ear... the second picture is the boy playing around the dog house.. They are the best investment i ever make..

Honestly... ferrets for rm300 is a steal!!! I got my pair for rm1400 ler... Not really smelly ah.. Depend mostly to ventilation system and the food. At first the food they are having does cause a little bit more oil excretion then i change to science plan due to better price and better quality. Then their smell reduces drastically! I kept them in the my bath room so the ventilation wasn't that good at first. So i install a ventilation fan ( just cost bout rm40 ) then smelly no more. Really.. they are very good pet cause they dont make much noise, they are cute and extremely playful... not to mention intelligent as well...

Nope... But i m sure they love me. The male never bites except when we first got him home... But now he never bite. He is even more gentle than the female. The girl (white 1) however never bite when she is a baby... but now just playful bite.. strangely she only bites people's toes.. Not painful though...

Yup I agree.. there are so adorable!! and great escape artist too.. It will makes you wonder most of the time how they got out of their cage... So wat pet you are having?

My pair is actually still intact.. that means they can have babies.. Not sure yet but maybe when there is baby ferret and i cant take care of them all.. i might give them for adoption.. At first i dont like the idea coz i grew very attach to my pets but it seems that everyone over here are very nice and i believe i might find them good homes after all...

Well maintaining them also need quite a bit of money.. They need premium kitten food.. bout 100 bucks each month for my darling.. they are kinda prone for cancer.. so need to keep a health saving for them and thats is bout 1000 each. Heard that in some point of their life there will be a need for a major surgery. So i m crossing my finger and pray this would not come...

Well.. The ferrets live in my bedroom... and the puppy outdoor but occasionally also let them out.. The puppy seems to be very friendly.. lick them alot but my babies (ferrets) dont trust him that much.. hehehe... anyway say in most ferrets owners web. they do live together but ferrets tends to get better with cats...

Well ferret is very much like dogs and cat.. Very affectionate, very intelligent.. they do recognize you very well and well love you and please you. Let put it this way.. Ferret is a playful puppy dog that doesn't grow any larger than a cat.. They can be trained just like a dog to do tricks but don't expect them to fetch your daily papers though.. ...Plus they are very quiet, good for those who deters noisy pets. They can be potty trained just like a cat. But "accidents" do happen as they have short digestive system. In short.. they are one of the most fun and mischevious pet you can get on hand...
