Thanks, MilesAndMore, for showing this thread. It is refreshing to know the evolution of JustOne Personal Account, as I read through every post in this thread. It is good to know that JustOne Personal Account is fee-free. 1) As mentioned in the first post, Monthly eStatements are given separately for JustOne Personal Savings Account and JustOne Personal Current Account. So, there is no passbook for these 2 accounts, right? 2) Do the bank still emboss our name on the debit card? Nice feature. I thought that this feature is only for credit cards.

I definitely trust you all that no annual fee will be imposed for the debit card, for JustOne Personal Account. So, I just assume that the brochure for JustOne Personal Account is assumed to be wrong. The brochure states that:" there will be a RM8 fee upon issuance of debit card and a RM8 annual fee upon anniversary date of the card thereafter for JustOne Personal Current Account". It is stated at the bottom right of the brochure that the printing of the brochure is August 2016. Yet another misleading information from SCB?

Alright, I shall follow what shuangping did, and just cancel the debit card. I recently opened the JustOne Personal Account. So, closing the account is out of question for me, as the fee for the closure for account opened less than 3 months will be incurred. 1) Is it possible to cancel the debit card by calling SCB Customer Service? Or, do I have to go to SCB branch to do it? 2) After cancelling the debit card, my access to SCB online website, free online IBG and free online IBFT are still maintained as usual, right? Thanks for the advice. The announcement is SC Malaysia main web page ( https://www.sc.com/global/av/my-just-one-pe...otification.pdf). This post has been edited by kart: Nov 12 2016, 10:53 AM

Ramjade It makes me wondering whether I should open a Basic Saving Account in SCB, instead of JustOne Personal Account. After all, free IBFT is also available for Basic Saving Account. As MilesAndMore mentioned, Basic Saving Account is regulated by Bank Negara Malaysia, and it must have a ATM / debit card, with no annual fee. So, SCB cannot simply impose ridiculous rules and fees on Basic Saving Account. But, JustOne Personal Account is a SCB product. So, SCB has the right to impose ridiculous rules and expensive fees, and we customers have to accept it, against our will.
