yesterday run nothing drop...

This weapon worth?? RMAH??

I already get 4 legen mace....

1st 1.2+k dps with socket sold usd250
2nd 900 dps with socket sold usd32.99
3rd 780 dps with socket in rmah
4th 900 dps with socket in rmah

doing a3 run from 104 patch till now, nothing legendary drop for me.....

son..we are in the same boat. almost 2 week run, no legendary.

been wondering about this, need some insight on the thought

search the net, mostly...mostly will say that legendary drops are random drop (mean it can drop anywhere within act1-act4), but so far, there is also few that state a fix location for certain legend to drop, and from my experience, got a few legend piece that drop more than once, and it's seems those same legends drop repeatedly at the same map (all of them), havent encounter same legend item from different map yet (i.e. one drop in act 1, another in act 3, same legendary)

so which is which and also is there any list of the location of legend drop, been searching the net, yet no avail... perhaps those who know places where a specific item seems to drop, can share them thank you.

there is a thread for certain legendary drop area/elite in D3 forum pre 1.0.4, not sure if working now, but i have got some same legendaries from same map too, somewhere tower of the cursed/damned
im pretty sure some mobs only drop certain items, but if someone could create a thread on where u get the legendary, from what mob/elites, if possible, with time and date too will be cool
btw, once i got 2 absolutely same rare bracer from same kinds of mobs, those little scorpion in arreat crater, they come in big groups and the 2 bracers dropped closely, i was standing at the same spot while killing them (not sure if where i standing will affect the drops etc), this is what make me think that there are certain loot table for certain kind of mob, the 2 rare bracers shows exactly same stats after i ID them, not too bad stats and both sold for 1m+, and that time i dont even dare to post them together because i worry that blizzard think i duping and ban me

i've gotten 2 identical 1 handed crossbows too , still have it in the stash . i was wondering if i duped it without knowing how ..

Word from Blizzard about Dataming, Nerfs, and Patch 1.0.5
Bashiok has confirmed via email that a build of 1.0.5 is coming up on the downloader soon, but they suspect that the only changes that will be accessible via datamining are the inbound nerfs. However these nerfs are offset by "other changes" that won't be reflected in the build.

They're working on a blog post, but dataminers are faster.These nerfs aren’t what they appear, and a blog is incoming to explain the full changes being made in 1.0.5

So, note that you likely will see some big nerfs coming soon, but stay calm and wait for the blog post.


What we know for sure:
Trail of Cinders is having it's damage reduced
Major changes to how CC, and possibly demi-CC (slow, etc.) will work.
Things that we might suspect / fear / hope for:
Fix to the follower MF bug (it lets your MF exceed 300% now, and blizzard has stated that is not intended. Itmight just be a display bug at the moment, very hard to test)
Something to take tornado barbs down a notch
Better legendary drop rates (they've hinted that they might notch it up in the future a few times, and even at 300 MF / 84% movement speed it still feels anysmally low)
Possible follower re-balancing
Fixes to some legendaries (Unity/Nagelring/a few others don't drop, some don't seem to be able to roll the way the data suggests - Mempo of Twilight never rolls a large primary stat despite teh game guide and datamining saying it will (http://us.battle.net/d3/en/item/mempo-of-twilight), it's possible that legendaries getting 2 sockets is a bug (since other legendaries with a guaranteed socket can't roll an additional one), etc.).
Social improvements (chat channels, guilds, etc.?)

What we know won't be in 1.05:
PVP (slated for 1.1)

it's been 5 days since my last legendary drop. and prior to that, i always get at least one legend drop per day.... im starting to get paranoid again... 250 MF = 0?

doodleman: you are facing the same problem as I, but I grind hard enough so I did get some legendaries. however, I am getting far far less than before sunday.

same problem here... getting harder to get legendary...

yesterday got another damn "The Burning Axe of Sankis"... if gimme another Ice Climber i no mind...

I have a theory on legendary drops...

I think there are certain magical numbers on mf that increases the chance of legendaries being dropped.

I recall I was somewhere around the range of 153 mf when I had 2 drops in the same hour... 1 legendary and 1 set.

so that's why some of us here when buy or change new gear (assumingly with different mf), the luck changes as it happen to hit these magical numbers.

as time passes you hit higher paragon levels thus changing the mf- may be for the better or worse.

thus that's why sometimes we have an amazing run with many legendaries and why some low mf people get good drops while higher mf people may still get nothing.

I suggest those with a stroke of good luck recently (frequent legendaries) to post what's their mf and nv stack when the items drop. who knows right? lol.. think about it..

few days no legendaries = okay

none since 1.0.4 = something..

depends on luck tho..

just need to keep farm then! hehe

yeap, last time in Blizz Forum, during 1.03 patch, read before they say to maintain base MF like around 40%++ for maximum drop, but that was 1.03, now 1.04 dunno applicable or not


could just be total randomness, still wondering whether certain map drops fix legends or not, coz seems getting few type of legends more than once at same map

can we have a thread to spot which area/which mob dropping which kind of legendary?

im so sad because no legendary since patch 104, and everyday i do a3 run for at least 4-8 hrs

Found another not so great legendary... "Sledge of Athskeleng"

Used to be happy with iLvl62 legendary, but looking at the price in AH, it's not very profitable anymore

even not every lvl 63 legendary can sell good price now . yesterday got the Strom Crow . very happy at the first place . mana tau after check AH only worth 1-3 M.

Yeah it happens...I got one of it and it sold for like 900k...happiness and excitement only lasted for so long...sigh

240% MF for 4days straight got nothing. Pfft
