What's with all the Theo bashing and Ox hyping?

Theo's not everybody's cup of tea but he has shown last season that he can be a deadly weapon.

Ox has much to learn for now - he needs to learn how to use his physical abilities, and this is one of the most prominent advantage compared to Theo. In terms of dribbling, crossing, and finishing Theo still has the edge given that he has had more playing time and experience.

I suppose Theo's contract issues has made him even less popular among fans. And at the same time, we should remember that it is the media (and fans) who overrated Theo half a decade ago and then criticised him for not developing at the rate that we expected.
