Now Arsenal need to maintain the momentum. But when it come to be consistent, then there were International breaks. Huh.

Arsenal shld improve their crossing style and long ball. Mybe Arsenal has being used with short passes, but now EPL is diff. Every team can become like a rugby team. It mybe useful and could minimize legs being crocked by opponents if we change.

The most important thing is MENTAL strength.
After this Arsenal will stat to face newly promoted clubs such SOTON and West Ham, of which could test whether Arsenal hv learn from mistake/the past or not.

i'm guessing when Sagna's back, Giroud will score a couple of headers from Sagna's crosses. thumbup.gif

Im not sure whether the current Soton team totally from their academy or not. But im pretty sure thier captain is from there.

And we also known that we got Ox and Walcott from Soton also. No wonder they can play better football because thier backbone academy is superb.

They deserve a place in EPL.
*
from what i know, #20 Lallana, #4 Schneiderlin and #16 Ward-Prowse are their academy graduates. my friend did ask me last night, what if Walcott, Ox and Bale are still in the team. Southampton would be awesome to watch if these three still around. running around the opposition area like nobody business!

seems like our stadium is too hot to handle

fire at Emirates

Two security guards discovered the blaze in a kitchen at around 2am and initially tried to tackle the flames themselves before being overcome by smoke and dialling 999.

Four fire engines and 20 firefighters from Holloway, Kentish Town and Islington fire stations attended the incident and managed to bring the fire under control by 3.45am, preventing it from damaging any other parts of the stadium in Holloway.

Part of the ground floor kitchen was left damaged and the two security guards were treated at the scene for smoke inhalation, but did not require hospital treatment.

Watch Manager Surjit Singh, from Kentish Town fire station, who was in charge of the incident, said: “A fire alarm alerted a couple of security guards to the fire who went to investigate. Initially they attempted to deal with it themselves but quickly realised they needed our help and rang 999.

“Firefighters were on the scene within minutes of being called, and even though a couple of them are Spurs fans, they all worked really hard to bring the fire under control and managed to prevent it from affecting other parts of the stadium. From a fire brigade perspective it was a job well done.”

Fire investigators were called to establish how the fire started and the cause is thought to have been accidental.

big kudos to those Spurs firefighters.

very good read about finance in football world
http://www.footballfancast.com/2012/09/foo...e-in-comparison

The system with La Liga is obviously hard to compare considering the clubs in Spain sell their rights individually. Whilst Real Madrid and Barcelona both receive upwards of £150m per season the other ‘top clubs’ receive about a fifth of that, and the lesser clubs make a comparative pittance.

Overall in the Spanish league TV rights are sold for around £510m per season, with over half of that going to Real Madrid and Barcelona. Jose Ignacio Wert, Spain’s sport minister, said however that the Spanish giants would be open to the idea of restructuring the way the television rights are distributed in an attempt to raise the general level of the league.

about EPL

£3b was just part of the valuation given to the Premier League by broadcasters. BSkyB and BT will now pay over £6m each per game they broadcast, and that’s before they international television rights, expected to fetch around £2b, have even been sold.

This new deal will begin from the 2013/14 season and will mean that the top clubs in England are, on average £30m per year better off. In comparison to last season, the bottom placed team would receive an extra £15m per year and the champions would receive almost £40m more than Manchester City did this year.

Prediction:

Arsenal 2 vs Southampton 0

I see what you did there. Everytime u predict the result, it came out wrong. Now you're predicting that Arsenal will win but actually you're hoping for the reverse result. Then if (touchwood) Arsenal lose, you'll come here and thrash talk as always.

Sorry guys, it's Channel 810

Initially, channel 810 is not available earlier. Just now only it starts being broadcasted rclxub.gif.

Maybe there's some respect to Arsenal after all.

I mentioned 801 earlier because I saw it listed in the TV Guide (from the Astro decoder, not from the Guide book) doh.gif

Yup, it's nearby my place. I have been to that place once when I went exploring the area but it's quite deserted sweat.gif

Anyway, let's meet up some time in future.

Woj with a real howler. Nightmare from him.

The passing between Poldi and Cazrola is simply godlike... and even Gervinho is great today. Maybe we should play him as a false nine every match!
*
indeed. Gervy's mobility up front really terrorized Southampton's defense. they can't cope with our forwards movement.

Some intresting facts about Arsenal; which suggests that they gonna win alot this season:

1) Last time Arsenal faced Sunderland in the opening game, they won the league.

2) Last time London hosted Olympics, they won the league.

3) Last time Arsenal was in group "B" of CL they reached the final.

4) Last time when we had 4 different grand slam champions, Arsenal won the league.

5) Last time Arsenal beat Southampton 6-1, Arsenal went a whole season unbeaten & went on not lose 49 games in a row.

i think there will be a bit of squad rotation in Montpellier.. my preferred line up is the one we have on Saturday. however i think le Boss will field a lineup as this ;-

-Vito-
-Jenks-Verm-Koss-Gibbs
-Arteta-Diaby-Cazorla-
Walcott-Giroud-Podolski

subs - Per, Gervy, Ramsey, ox, coq, arshavin,
*
i think Santos and Ramsey will be playing.

oh, Bouldemort will take charge of the team tonight. AW to serve 3 match ban.
