Not waiting on Project C.A.R.S which is basically shift 3?
I have already pledge for it. It is getting better, but i think they still need some more real license for the tracks and cars.
And they do need to concentrate on the gameplay side of things, such as the pit to driver radio, pit stop, multiplayer and so on. Instead of just the graphics side which is already leaps and bounds better than Shift 2 despite it is a pre alpha game.
Still, they are doing the crowd funding development rather transparent and professional which is what i like about it. Maybe it is just better to make the art assets first, since it still can be used later on, than code whole lot of stuff first, then got dumped later on due to major feature changes.
Still, it is definitely not Shift 3 with shinier graphics. It is much much better in terms of handling and physics where i think it is a nice balance between Shift physics and full sims like iRacing or rFactor. There are quite a lot of hardcore sim fans backing it with lots of money, so they definitely trying to whack it till it plays very much like a real sim.
Not to forget they have Ben Collins who used to the Stig in Top Gear as a consultant for the car physics.
