The future outlook for cyberjaya is good. Good environment (not industrial factory are allowed in cyberjaya), serene, quality of living is there if not now, then will be very soon. Few big malls are under planning there. No low cost houses there too. All the houses there are new with good design.

Published: Saturday September 22, 2012 MYT 11:19:00 AM Updated: Saturday September 22, 2012 MYT 11:34:53 AM DPM: Affordable housing a govt priority CHINA: The Malaysian government will focus on helping make available more affordable public and private houses costing RM300,000 and below, in view of current house prices being beyond the reach of the middle-income population said Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin. He said the government had realised the problem some years back and was drawing up strategies to handle the situation in line with its "people first" concept. "House prices are way too high. An individual starting work as a government employee is unable to buy an affordable house," he told Malaysian journalists covering his working visit to China. Muhyiddin said helping people own affordable houses would be an important agenda of the government. He said the focus would be on making available houses which cost RM300,000 and below after a study was made on the income of the people and the selling prices of houses. - Bernama -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- © 1995-2012 Star Publications (Malaysia) Bhd (Co No 10894-D) |

QUOTE(LCL01 @ Oct 22 2012, 10:45 PM) cyberjaya is not a good place for own stayed. just my personal view. my gf stayed in cyberia for 2 years. my brother still staying there for close to 2 years d. n i stayed there for a month before that. based on the sample that i observed there is no good feedback from the residents there. u hardly can find any good restaurant there, there is no chinese food, no cheap mamak, all the foods there r either franchise or a nasi lemak that cost u 10 bucks. although there is a mex to link to kl, but for me, i really feels like forever to travel from cyber to town (maybe im not driving a big car). for me, it is overspeculation. try to ask around, how many buyers bought the place for own stay? besides 2 university and some mncs, there is nothing there. if the price is cheaper than other areas for maybe a 30-40%, that it might can works. Sadly, the projects there all priced at super high level and there is no more competitive advantage as compared to others area. location is not superb, price is high, infrastructure is the same with other areas, no LRT/MRT/KTM, and what is left is only a lot homogeneous residential projects that developed by greedy developer at a crazy high price level. brother, things will change. next time you do not have to travel far far Dont boom me, this is just what i feel n i think i should share with u guys. there are too many good things that u know, is time to look at the negative side. hope that i help. thanks. i bought a studio in taman equine, i think that area also facing same problems that cyber has, just that studio there only sells at 200k. |

MK Land to build low-cost homes in Cyberjaya
Dec 20, 2012 - PropertyGuru.com.my By Farah Wahida: In a bid to help low-income earners acquire a home, MK Land Holdings Bhd announced today that it will continue to build affordable houses even in high-end residential areas. Chairman Tan Sri Mustapha Kamal Abu Bakar revealed that the company plans to construct affordable houses in Cyberjaya although most developers there want to build luxury houses only. “MK Land's plan to continue building affordable homes is in line with the government's intention through the 1Malaysia People's Housing Programme (PR1MA) to help the people own houses, particularly in the Klang Valley,” he said. Mustapha Kamal added that the company is willing to share its experience and cooperate with the government in undertaking affordable housing schemes, adding that his experience 30 year experience in building affordable homes has earned him the title “King of Low Cost”. “MK land is an affordable home developer whose experience we are prepared to share with the government to build similar houses for the people," he said. Moving forward, MK Land plans to build 3,000 affordable houses in Cyberjaya in 2013. Farah Wahida, Editor of PropertyGuru, wrote this story.
