I'm more interested on below statements.

"Ling said it is anticipated that a residential boom will take place in Cyberjaya over the next five years and that by 2016, it would be home to a population of 100,000.
Ling said with that in mind, the group launched Cyberjaya's first and only light industrial development called Autoville last week, which has been earmarked for automotive related business.

Ling said with the increase in population, more commercial entities are expected to operate in Cyberjaya and by 2016, the city will have some 18 million sq ft of office space, 1,863 shop units, 28,762 residential units, seven schools and eight universities and colleges."

Another reason, developer only own small land, they are maximizing profit margin, leverage on small unit, but huge number of units.

Believe out of 10 SOHO, only 2 will win.

Buy for own stay, not a problem.
Buy for investment, must well wait until 2017/2018, pay extra 50% premium for the sexiest one.

Somehow I agreed with the last sentence nod.gif

Read in reflexion / nusaputra lyn thread that the sinking issue affected only the first 1-2 phases only. After developer introducing few more foundations at later phases the sinking issues are rectified now.
*
What will happen to phase 1/2 buyers? Will developer pay compensation or fix the issue? doh.gif

In this forum, most of us are about mid 30s, staying & working location like not as consistent, here & there because statistic data is too less.

Most of us are working employee, business owner like too busy to post here.

The only facilities that Cyberjaya lacks of is Chinese school, many thing will be ready by 2017/2018.

Extract from the star..

Extract from The Star: High End Enclave
“The 40-storey Apex Residence to be built beside Gardenview will have the tallest condo tower in Cyberjaya. We are also going to build 16 units of luxurious three-and-a-half storey bungalow equipped with individual lift that would cost around RM3.5mil,”

..but that was mid of last year.

16 units only, bet the strata maintenance fee would be almost like someone renting a SOHO.
*
40-stroey tallest condo tower? Skypark service apartments will be 41 floors in total (not including the 3 floor shops double height levels). hmm.gif

I feel so too unless the authority can provide some major boost factors to this area - eg LRT/MRT, another highway, etc.

Too early to tell for rental/flip in nx 3-5 years..could be longer..but no harm in buying if u hav no issue in holding..15 years abroad, should hav more than enough to hold unit in HYVE..😜
*
I hope don't need to hold for 15 years. 7-8 years still viable.

"Cyberjaya City Centre, that covers an area of 141 acres, with the gross development value of more than RM6 billion will support the smart city in providing a composition of commercial, residential units and corporate offices."

Where exactly is the Cyberjaya City Centre? Is it the one previously rumoured to be opposite The Place / LKW ? hmm.gif

Next, hope the LRT or MRT will be reaching Cyber.
