Hello CPS Tribe, Waja CPS newbie owner here. Now having few problem sweat.gif

1. Engine oil leak when the car is park overnight. Strange this only happen at night. During daytime 9am to 7pm parking under the sun, no leaking.
Dah bring the car for inspection. Foreman told the drain plug screw longgar. Tightened but this morning still leaking.
Could it be gasket, oil sump or block problem? Stock Waja CPS Auto 2008 with 6xK mileage.

2. Benda macam jam analog sebelah bawah ABS sign kat speedometer area tu sometimes turn on. What sign is it(I misplaced the manual book)?

3. ABS sign supposed auto TURN ON and OFF or always ON? Mine sometimes ON for long time and OFF by itself during driving.

Lastly, anyone kind enough to lend me the Waja CPS manual Book? Prefer around KL or nearby area, kawe datang nak pinjam copy. Tonight also can.
Thank you.

Thank you for the feedback guys! Now I am worry about the leakage underneath.

Bro TripleJ104 and penpal_my,
You guys mean the 2 rear bonnet holder is it? I know there are rubber separator for sale. I am using it on Waja CPS.
I think my ABS pump going to kong. If I pump the brake, ABS indicator turn on all the until the engine off.

Ada saper2 stay area KL? kawe nak pinjam manual book CPS ni. Nak copy jer.
Dah bereh kawe blanje sup meletop kat Bandar Tasik Selatan. Amacam? biggrin.gif

burger bakar kaw kaw lasssss, yummy. Owh got rubber separator. But i ady do diy so far no prob. How much is it anyway?
Benang tu means re- thread the oil drain nut. Maybe engine oil coming through there.
*
Burger bakar in Ampang near Galaxy is fine but the area always pack drool.gif
Rubber separator cost RM6 for 2.

Noted. Can I just buy a new oil drain nut?

Not sure if buy new nut can solve the prob coz it could be the thread at oil pan too.
Most of us still stock condition..mostly la laugh.gif .

Noted. Thanks ya.

QUOTE(fazron80 @ Dec 28 2012, 11:19 PM)
maybe the nut thread has loosen so oil leaking out. that's what happen to me.maybe can try change the washer but if the thread is loose it will still leaks.suggest the formen to rethread the thread inside the sump. you need to change to bigger nut after that. strange that ur formen dont suggest a solution?

It is the used car dealer's foreman la. Maybe they don't want to bear additional cost.
Everything is fine during test drive. Inspect underneath, gearbox and block also no oil trace. Next morning, there are a lot of oil drips underneath. Back to workshop on X'mas, they tightened the nut and said job done. Next day, oil drips again.
I will go to Azuma's regular workshop later to get a second opinion before proceed to Kajang.

How much is the retread job cost?
Thanks.

mine was 25 including new nut and washer. tapi buat kat kuantan.

Just came back from the dealer's workshop. He insisted on changing the drain nut and some glue sweat.gif . So far no leaking but I am sure it will not last. Will get it done at the workshop recommended by Azuma_kun if problem appear again. Fabricate the hole and retread the drain nut to bigger size.

They did change the oil drain nut to new one but if the oil sump pan tread is loose, it is useless. Let see if there is a leaking again this morning.

Expected problem... now on the lookout for other issue.
Will the ABS module last longer with thermal cover? Plan to keep it away from heat as I notice the ABS indicator turn on when it become too hot.

No la. I am just asking if thermal covering the Waja CPS abs module from engine heat is useful.

probably the odometer fuse board burn...tis kind problems vvery rare to happen...most of us experiencing the bulb...but tht standard la...iinm new odometer ori around 250...just change it to new one...the mileage meter installed not on board.

Urs AT?
*
AT. All okay on speedometer. Dash light turn on nicely except the blue color high beam indicator not turn when I change from low beam to high beam.
Waja CPS don't have blue light indicator in high beam like the old 4G18 ke? sweat.gif

Compare to my other lightly modded 4G18 ke? > 12 years old 4G18 vs < 7 years CPS its not fair to compare a finished
article with forever in development henjen la  tongue.gif
Untuk potential used Waja buyer , here is the football scoring (lower scoring = loser)

FC - 4G18 (modded) 1    CPS (stock) 0
Engine balancing - 4G18  (modded) 1  CPS (stock) 2 (engine has potential tapi engineering flaw  sweat.gif )
NVH - 4G18 (stock) 1  CPS (stock) 2
Handling - 4G18  (non-stock) 2    CPS 2 (stock)
Reliability - 4G18 (stock / modded)  2    CPS (stock) 1
Rattling dashboard (front funny sound effect)- 4G18 (stock) 2    CPS (stock) 1
Rattling arms (rear funny sound effect) - 4G18 (stock) 0    CPS (stock) 2

Buying new, ayyoo. buying used, ayoyo  sweat.gif
I actually looking for a used pre-2008 Civic but end up with much cheaper 2008 Waja CPS.
maintained sentimental value and saved a lot of moolah!

Sudah de-mod it and give to my other half wub.gif for her use back in her hometown. Car is well maintain and more reliable.
In fact it drive better than my current Waja CPS. Itu before de-mod. A bit noisy only but no dashboard and door ratling sound sweat.gif

Eh, Mutt using front bumper like Satria Neo CPS one right? Mana mau dapat? drool.gif
