Ari tu gatal2 pi tanya kat bengkel, berapa kena kalo nak tukar Air-con fan motor, 3 bengkel bagi jawapan sama: kalo nak motor cap ayam dalam RM85 + RM30 coolant + RM30 upah. Kalo nak ori APM dalam RM120 + RM30 + RM30. DIY cost x sampai 100 hengget.
Lol....X guna ape2 tape pun. Cable2 dan hose sumer pakai sarong rubber ikut measurement laugh.gif .
Industrial tape leceh next time payah nak bukak kalo nak DIY tap wire.
Ni gambo henjen bay kawe. 100% stock. Grounding dengan DIY voltage stabilizer x siap lagi. Baru pilih capacitor.

Cusco oil catch tank dah re-position mount guna O-ring jer. Bawah letak rubber pad x nak ada vibration biggrin.gif

Walbro 255lph boleh pasang kat mana2 kete. meme betoi housing need to modified to accommodate the Walbro. Make sure to change the fuel filter underneath.
Stock fuel line and injector can cope without any problem. Better to have the AFPR install and set at least 3 bar but its not a feasible option for stock setup.
Not until you had the exhaust, open pod, fuel rail and cam job done. Starting with AFPR is good but using fake fuel regulator can caused the engine to stalled.
Nak bezakan Walbro ori dengan Walbro celup kena tengok texture. Walbro ori finishing lagi halus dan berkilat ala Harith Iskandar laugh.gif
Walbro celup finishing malap dan banyak black plastic kat moving part.

*
Oghe selalu tukar timing belt mileage 80k. Ramai yang tarik 100k baru tukar.
Bak kata abe Fazron80, demo check timing belt tu kalo nampak cun melecun x de crack dah tukar ler tu.
Kos tukar timing belt siap oil seal dengan tensioner bearing dalam RM300 kot. Tengok brand.

10w-40 offer better engine protection compare to 5w-30. I think la biggrin.gif

Currently on 3rd day using Revo engine treatment. Lesser vibration, if the steering vibration like before is the benchmark whistling.gif
Smoother engine? Nope. Still the same but some tappet sound during cold start is not so obvious already. Serviced with 10w-40 Eneos about a week earlier.
Lighter acceleration with Revo? I think so la... again, maybe placebo effect.

Yes. You can.
Driving as usual got klong klong sound? check your steering rack and tie end rod. You cannot point the exact origin of the sound? or maybe krek krek sound?
How is the steering freeplay? If steering too soft, maybe steering bush need to change.
Driveshaft spoil got sound on normal driving. Lower arm problem is ngek ngek with loud thud thud going on uneven road if driven faster.
Power steering fluid seldom got problem. If you want to get rid of hissing sound, use X1R atf treatment for power steering.

btw, my recipt show 10w-30 3L one bottle and 10w-40 1L one bottle  sweat.gif

Eh, Proton mix different grade of engine oil ker? blink.gif
Friend's 6xxnm torque monster running on 300V 15w-50.
I am still unsure about the best engine oil grade for Campro CPS though. Using Eneos semi 10-w40 with Revo treatment.

Yesterday went to Klang, car feels so heavy. My prediction are the air filter. I'll try to revert back to stock air filter and get a reoiling kit
for the current air filter. Maybe the air filter too dry it cannot filter dust that is why I heard the rough engine sound. More air in but less out due to restriction from the stock exhaust..... lol. VIM also make an aeroplane sound when I press the accelerator. sweat.gif

btw, anyone has tuned pedal response here?
*
Its like a 'dry' sound biggrin.gif
When I changed to stock air filter, everything back to normal...hahaha.
Throttle body just clean up few days ago.
Since mine is stock setting, I plan to reset the throttle body and see if its better.

Dry ekk...its sounded like harder..

mine using stock filter..
never cleaned throttle body and pdt tuning..if SC do it, how much?
*
Hard as in trying too hard while dry is more to hollow sound. Different 'heavy' feel...lol.
Mine all DIY cleaning. TB cleaning outside around RM40 last time. PDT tuning at Proton around RM60. Reset error code included.

The filter re-oiling kit is useful as it is the oil which trap the dirt from entering the throttle body and engine.
I am still trying to figure out the oil type so can DIY re-oiling kit. I am sure its available somewhere...lol.

added: last time went to Speedworks to clean my K&N drop in. All the guy did was soaked the air filter to detergent filled water, dry it and here goes my RM10.
I actually follow the guy all the way behind to see how its done

Singer oil...lol
I am looking into something which does not stick to intake manifold. The other day applied some Revo engine treatment to the air filter already.

As long as no steel mesh sandwiched the cotton or woven wool and not washable, its consider stock biggrin.gif
If you open the air box, you will see the identical air filter too.

15w-50 full syn is around RM85/liter.
5w-40 last time cost around RM140/2 liter.

Now I am tempted to DIY changing to dual layer brake servo. Any recommendation other than Evo4 and above?

The problem is finding a dual layer servo with correct housing and connection with minimal mod. I Know it cost more than RM350 to convert standard servo without ABS to dual layer.
I think Evo4 to Neo is not PnP.
I am not familiar with ABS module yet but I use to DIY bleeding at 4 side.

The other day, I removed the ABS fuse. Late braking is such a breeze.

I removed the main fuse from engine bay. I think its somewhere at bottom left with ABS sign on the cover. Engine check light does turn on but I still drive for few KM to get the feel....lol.
Before you remove, have you try covering the ABS module? Too much heat which is a nature of Campro can caused the ABS to turn on anytime.
I posted a pic of my ABS module DIY covered too as before that, ABS like to turn on for fun. After DIY job, so, far only light up once but that was when I suddenly jam the brake.

Does the ABS indicator light turn on? If no, it's a normal ABS working sound.
The squeaking brake sound when slow braking in jam is a Waja auto trademark. Changing to GSR or twinpot will settle the problem. sweat.gif
