QUOTE(Masamune @ Oct 13 2012, 11:41 AM) Some website recommend the SB 400 instead of SB 700. Being lighter, more compact and cheaper. What are the main differences between those 2? google is your friend. but if you have to ask then you will be happy with just sb400 cause that is what you need. hehe

QUOTE(cuteyuzikid @ Oct 17 2012, 11:35 AM) Hey guys.. I'm hopping into the DSLR train soon and I've decided for NIKON as my 1st camera ever because of the more "natural" colour look compared to Canon! So I've been studying about some stuff and have come down to d5100 and d3200. Basically different opinions from close friends so I'd like to hear some input from you guys both are great beginner models. Functions about the same only D3200 have higher pixel count. The D5100 going for bout 2k now in lowyat if not mistaken (LCD great for video if you into videos).

QUOTE(rickyro @ Oct 20 2012, 04:54 AM) Hello guys... Is your 35mm 1.8g focusing ring rotate a little more rough compared to the 50mm 1.8g? It is sort of like being able to feel every single cog of it... I just bought a new one online so couldn't compare it Its brand new ya. Mine was the same but after using for some time it is superb enjoy it great lens! (35mm f1.8 af-s)

QUOTE(M30W @ Oct 31 2012, 11:12 PM) sandisk 30MB/s i record in 1920x1080 is it because of this? cant be.. I tot 5100 is meant for video record =="" I'm using class 4 with my d5100 no problem for full HD recording. Seems play on your camera its ok but on computer its jerky the video. Maybe its your computer, try in another computer? QUOTE(MrAkay @ Nov 1 2012, 07:47 AM) cpu speed doesnt affect transfer? i swear my laptop is slower at transferring my files.. i guess i was wrong OS does, I upgraded to Win8 and suddenly file transfer become super fast via built in card reader on my laptop.

QUOTE(M30W @ Nov 1 2012, 09:35 PM) 6gb.. i tried it 3 different pc all the same...... LOL =.="" tried in Ubuntu, Win 7 and XP.. all cant display nicely..... Bro hearing your problem and how it is consistent even when using different PC & OS, I would strongly ask you to take your camera to Nikon service center for professional testing. I'm using the same camera with class 4 sdcard and I have not encountered this problem yet. To me this camera suites me fine and as Apple would say, "It just works". I feel that its either your camera or your sdcard.
