what do you want to achieve? are you looking into photo quality satisfaction? if yes then i would recommend you jump direct to D600. Coming from my past experience, i started with Panasonic Gx1, then realized that the the camera no longer suites me because of my rapid progress of photography interest, i bought a D5100 body with tamron 17-50 f2.8 lens. as i explore further into photography, i developed the urge of getting a full frame camera to suite my usage and satisfactory. eventually i bought the D600 with tamron 24-70 f2.8.lesson learnt, if i would have jump straight to full frame, i will save a lot of money from the beginning. however, the decision of getting the FX or DX is still depends on you.
P/S: photography can be a very expensive hobby.
