I had this problem before. Always wanting everything to be spoon fed. Then I was thrown into the real world. I found that it is best to try out for myself and learn from my own experience first and then asked based on what I have tried.

My managers would not have the time to teach me everything A-Z. My job is to make my bosses' job easier. The least I can do is show them the effort that I have tried and at least he/she has an idea of what I am thinking and can guide me on how to improve my thinking process.

1st step. Find information on the company and how they do their recruitment. You will find that most big companies do their recruitment online as well as join recruitment fairs.
