Hi, i got an offer working as an electrical engineer in an oil refinery in Sg. The things is the position is not permanent position but renewable contract every year. Now, i am wondering if it is a good move into oil and gas industry. Where can i move to in case my contract is not renew after a year?

This has nothing to do with breach of contract, since it was offered to the guy as a one year renewable contract. Its not like he can disregard the contract and keep working in the company after his contract period, i would very much like to see what happens next.

The work permit which they would have to apply to work in singapore is usually valid for 2 years so it would be a waste for the company to hire him for only a period of one year and cut him loose unless they have serious financial issues.

Weather is quite bad now. I just got back from offshore after 43 days out. 3 meter waves

seas side ok, water rarely rises up but if youre futher in land tuh yg masalah.its worst if near a river without adequate draining....sure the water over flow.
