Gumusut has high safety requirement which requires rounds of procedures and checklists first before executing anything. This greatly contributes to the delays on the project.

The most recent fatality i heard of was on Gumusut-Kakap FPS.
Sad to hear about it.
Today we talked about it onboard our ship, during the morning briefing, instead of our planned HSE topic, to show the him the respect he deserves.

Thanks win44. On the design point of view. Is there any pressure indicator/gauge installed near the door?
*
i dont see much reason to put a pressure gauge there, unless that room is used for regular activities which involve pressurizing it. (Which i have never heard of)
U could suggest it tho, and use this as justification. but its probably not cost effective, unless justified.

Careful. I read inside the LFI its a Restricted doc... you can get fired for putting on LYN.

Cheers.

Hi, thanks for the warning, but not entirely accurate.
Said document is not "restricted", nor is it intellectual property or an internal restricted document of any sort.
You can read it again (the LFI) to get a clearer picture on the legal angle.

All due respect ofcourse.
But i understand how you could get the idea from reading the first paragraph.

The document is meant for information purpose only, and Shell, its employees, contractors, and anyone or company is indemnified from any use of the said document by anyone who gets hold of it.

More importantly, Safety alerts & sharing are meant to be shared. Thats what they are for.
We have to keep sharp out there, and HSE news & HSE values should be shared on a daily, no, on a perpetual basis.

Cheers

i seconded. it is meant for within the company and the contract holders. distributed/sharing with consent from those parties only.
always receive such similar format alert from our Brunei plant from BSP.

No worries. This LFI can be shared to other parties.
Target audience is the company and contractors, as that is where the news will be most effective.
In this case, it is openly distributable. smile.gif

But if anyone is offended by it in any way, i can remove it.
I understand the big audience here, and not everyone is from OnG.

Have a read and understand the whole scenario, a lot of people want to switch to or join o&g but have no idea what it is about and blindly follow the trend. it does not meant o&g has big $, other fields also have when earned niche experience and skills

And the CIMB attachment when it was hot during year 2011. Read for knowledge, market trend and not for your stock playing. Uploader does not bear any liabilities and responsibilities for stock playing damage/lost.
There is this thing call "google".
