I stop using batteries powered watch , so its either  Kinetic , Automatic, Tough Solar, Self Wind or Ecodrive.

Smart watch was never meant to wear and tear plus why change battery of a smart watch when every year it will have newer more functionality added.
*
I stopped using watches that cannot keep time if left unworn for a few weeks. Lol

So..now only wear Gshock. Preferable solar powered and and have power saving tech when left unworn. It can probably boot up and still keep time after being left idle for a decade.

I Still keep my automatic watches though.

Some of my seiko solar the battery reserve deteriorated overtime because not enough charge and can only keep time for around a month with full charge. I think eco drive is better than seiko's solar.

And kinetic is a huge no no. Have to constantly wear it or the battery will weaken over time. Only buy kinetic if that's your one and only watch.

And no..i wont use a winder.

I haven't touched my 5600 in like 2mths + due to the lockdown, today I have a look at its still H.

Both my 5600/5610 are also at H. They've been sitting in total darkness for more than two months too.

The s5600 has been in total darkness for half a year i think because i don't wear it at all.

The 5610 is too good a servant and is always my grab and go watch. Its the only watch i ever need to be honest.

I have heard bad comments when you open up the g shock to change battery.. usually got issue after that...

Because most Gshocks have plastic body and the back cover is attached using those four screws. I think Once the screws are removed, the plastic body, housing for the screw threads will be compromised so, it makes sense that its never gonna be the same again after a back case removal and reinstall procedure.

Its gone because people always forgot to  screw back the crown once performing the settings  and that may be the cause of water seeping in.

Are we still talking Gshock here?

Hi all... anyone here bought from GPeople before? Are they reputable? Thank you

Gpeople is ok. Bought from them since Lelong time. Langkawi based.

Still buy from them from time to time. Haven't had any issues yet.
