Aside from the GBA-800 and GBD-800 watches, which other watches have step tracker?

I like the GBA-800 but I wish it would be solar.
*
i belief GMA-B800 & mudmaster gg-b100
no solar yet for step tracker
hopefully solar model sometime in the future

plenty around everywhere...even in SG where its priced at SGD2299.
think its going to be a slow sell, even tho news said discontinued already, since those ppl who really want it would have it already...and the rest who cannot afford wouldnt bother tongue.gif
*
but saw that both titanium squares are discontinued now.
donno if price will hike later doh.gif

i would buy if i could afford one
but i dont think i would wear it, sked dings and scratches bangwall.gif

see how mine end up below (right)
learned basic steel polish (left), now less sad laugh.gif

seeing for pacparts the steel bezel only cost almost 4xx to replace
diy at home less than rm20 haha

I followed this video
but without the dremel tool
just sandpaper (1000 & 1500grit) and something coarser to give the stainless steel look (brushed finish)
in the video he recommends the cape cod cloth

Kinda like G-5600E-1. Any recommendation where I can buy it? Like its classy square and solar. Scare if too many feature like bluetooth, might not last long.
*
bluetooth ones gwb5600 n gmwb5000 got solar charging biggrin.gif
some model with BT (even without solar charging) has battery estimation of 2year+

To all guru and sifu here,

I seek your advice. In your wisdom, do you think this is genuine?

https://www.lazada.com.my/products/casio-g-...s684878758.html

If yes, then my next question would be... is the G-5600e-1 is a good starting point for a G-Shock newbie?
*
thats a good choice.
for me solar charging is a bonus compare to the DW5600
so far i purchased once from the shop, overall very good.
they always had promo

I'm a little late to the Casio party.
Never thought I would purchase a G-Shock but the lockdown got me looking at various different watches. I wasn't quite sure about the metal GShock initially as I've heard it's too big for smaller wrist.
I decided to take the plunge and see how it feels on my 6.25" wrist. TBH it just about wraps my wrist with some small gaps but still passable when sized properly. Overall I'm pretty pleased with it especially when it's quite loud and could be a fun watch to wear on the weekends.

Looks great .. hope the battery duration are as what they are promoting . A smart watch thats not in thirst looking for charging port especially when you are. outdoor .
*
Hope so
For normal wear, with the solar should be fine
I tried running for 2 days, gps does eats up battery.

QUOTE(kevyeoh @ Jun 14 2020, 07:43 PM)
dude...the heart rate max really measured up to 220 for your own HR?
or it's just telling you the range of HR the watch can measure?
*
That i am not sure, i checked the HR graph for that day, arount the time i let the watch sit on desk to capture ambient temp of office.
and left it there when go for lunch.
The next day i wore the whole day, from sleep to sleep time.
HR from 40 - 180(jogging) bpm.

Yesterday night i didnt wear the watch, now i see max 210bpm. sweat.gif
around the time after midnight.

Anyways, G-Factory released their price list for GBD100 it seems much much affordable than the resellers biggrin.gif
cant wait for the GBX to be released here 'officially'

ah gbx stocks came in earlier? not bad...too bad i lost interest cos of its slow interface tongue.gif
*
yeah
slow interface
that i agree

my quick review

notification display is a joke
to access the notification after is the same too
no quick access to notification, need to go thru the C button (timer, stop watch , activity then only notification)

worse on gbdh1000
more functions to go thru to get to notification
(heart rate, timer , stop watch , ABC feature , activity then notification)

recording activity
gps takes quite some time to lock
when done with activity
saving that took some time too.

had issue to get version update
gave up
and it updated itself next day

I read that the slowness is only when getting out of exercise mode or something, isn't it?

And all this new Gbd, gbx suffer from this same slowness right?
*
yes
when saving or cancelling activity data
in app settings browse thru and change too
