Just want to vent my frustration for the Rangeman GW9400. Owned this watch since 2021 and I have no issues to sync the watch using the atomic timekeeping until today. As usual I changed my timezone to Tokyo and turn on the JJY Simulator on iPhone. I’ve been trying for hours to sync the time and it keeps showing ERR. Started smoothly picking up L2 and L3 signal then nada, even though the volume is on full blast before showing ERR. Daily beater, with an office job hence disappointed for the atomic timekeeping to malfunction.
What’s your view on Casio multiband 6? Should I move on to the bluetooth time sync? |

Recently purchased both a G-Shock GA-2100-1A1 or known as the TMJ version as well as the DW-5600BB-1DR. Looking for a 3rd G-Shock black out version to complete my collection. Was looking at the DW6900BB to complete the trio but open to any other suggestions?

Should I move on to the bluetooth time sync? at most it'll take u 1min max to manually reset the time, compared to how long JJY takes. atomic is only best used in auto mode, especially where u have multiple watches so they all can sync automatically overnight without u having to do anything... anyway Bluetooth of cos is a better tech...as it also syncs 4 times a day... |

QUOTE(Everdying @ Apr 7 2024, 02:06 PM) Thanks for the recommendations, will check them out. The only G-Steel that I thought was interesting is the GST-B500BD-1A to match the rest of the blacked out collection. Will try that on to see if it is something that might fit. Initially I didn't want to get any steel watches because I already have other watches in those categories. |

Anyone think Mudmasters are too damn big? I have an 8 inch wrist and the smallest of the mudmasters GG1000, but yet I feel that they are big.

Sold that mudmaster and got this instead. On paper, the dimensions are not so different. I guess i just have to try it firsthand. sonotme liked this post

I just recently got this GW-400j from an aftermarket. It's a super cool piece even after 20 years and it was one of my wishlists back when I was in high school.
However, there's this symbol "Recov" flashing and it's limited quite some features. Not sure if it's required to change the battery or not since the power is at "high"? ![]() |

There is no reason to turn on the radio-controlled function right since we can't receive the radio signal?
