One thing that you have to take into account is the negative display. I thought my eyes could read the negative display after watching positive vs negative display review on youtube. But damn i was wrong haha.

Maybe im used to looking at positive display, analog watch, and apple watch. But its only hard to read when you are in a dark room, basement, where theres not enough sunlight. You can overcome this by turning auto light on. When you are outside also its pretty easy to read.

Next, im thinking to add a bullbar and change the buckle to black. Anyone has experience on putting a bullbar on their Gs? Will it leave a pressed mark on the bezel over time?

I rmb at one point this was sold much higher when all those scalpers were hyping it up

haha yeah! just so you know, they are considered as grey market as the warranty is covered by the shop. That's why the price is lot cheaper than official Casio site, G-Factory etc.

Bullbar for a GW9400 would not be nice...
Well, look might be subjective but if you ask me, bullbar on a square do look nicer...

No worries if you are worry on dents, etc.
G-Shock can take anything that you throw onto it.
It will looked more unique with some scratches on it which it solely belongs to you and yours only...

Somewhat unrelated to G-shock, but does anybody know where or how can I replace my Edifice glass? TIA

Need to take to the Marco service centre

Hi I need some help. I have a tough solar G-5600A 3160 that I bought almost 10 years ago. Recently whenever I press the light button, instead of the screen light up for few seconds, it lighted up for split seconds and off, then the battery indicator (L, M, H) all start to flash. As I read from the manual it said it's recovery mode that indicated charge required but after few seconds of all the L, M, H flashing, it stops at H and show fully charged. Any idea guys? I changed battery once around two years ago.

Is there any where I can change battery for my g shock other than Marco. They quote and ask me to change the module which I think unnecessary...

I think any watch shop selling gshock should able to change battery..
you also can opt to change the gasket ring too

Is it? Cause from what I search online forum usually normal watch shop reluctant to do it and ask to refer back to Marco.

if your watch still under warranty then why not send back to them..
i changed mine at a small watch shop tepi jalan and i find this kind of shop come with better workmanship/skill compare to those in shopping mall..
the shop that i went to even can service automatic watch

this is either the shop u used before put a non-rechargeable battery inside, or the capacitor is dying.
or the wrong battery messing up the capacitor...

best go to Marco, get them change the battery...still got problem insist to change capacitor...

usually they lazy and just take the easy way out which obviously is to change the whole module.
