sounds more like some fear mongering sales pitch...
in the end still a gshock...and if its not a limited edition...i dont really bother la...parts can be replaced later.

went from this to full in around 24-30hrs...

from experience...if i had left it by the window to take in the sun...it would take about 3 weeks to go full.
somehow the bluetooth squares take in power very slowly compared to other solar gshocks which i can normally charge to full in 2-3 days by the window.

price implies its original but grey market.
rest of the stuff they're selling also looks the same.
but obviously u cannot tell if its original just by looking at the stock photos...so have to go figure out who the seller is which i have no idea who they are yet.

anyway the last g-shock that caught my interest was the b100 mudmaster...but being non-solar and only 2yr battery life...meh...better get the garmin instinct.

u can also change the garmin battery...either thru aeco or diy... now using it while obviously having some defect is true absurdity tho.
also there are also cases of b100 with batteries dying after a yr... i believe got 1 in here too.
so in the end, anything can break down...but if everything works as it should... I'll still take garmin over b100.

there's a gasket around the caseback...as long as thats still ok...then no issues.
very rarely the screw thread gets stripped.

last 10yrs...i've changed my mudman g9000 battery twice already...still no issues...
3rd change coming soon already cos LED is weak...

again all that matters is that the gasket is in good condition...

couple weeks ago, the expected retail price of gbd is rm699...
gbx is expected to be rm759... could of cos change once actual stocks arrive by end of this month / early july.

ya all suffer from the slow interface.
another one is the button response time... typical gshocks u can press a button very quickly 3x..5x... depending what mode u want to go...alarm.. timer etc.
this one u cannot... maybe u press quickly 5x...it only goes to 2nd or 3rd mode...

the MIP actually has a positive display.. but on certain settings...
my guess is positive display eats the batt more since it needs to make more pixels white... so its not used for main.
