Some retailers (not small resellers) only sells GBD-100 if you purchase other watch together. Something like combo. This is insane. A basic tracker watch but with G Shock face and people reselling it for few more hundreds. Crazy

Wow... so in Malaysia now also can make use of the atomic clock function? Using app.. and so need bluetooth ya? Any model with BT and atomic clock will work the same?

can i ask a noob question? i believed the watch can be connected (via Bluetooth) to the phone.
so since it will connected, isnt it will be Auto-update with the phone's time (theoretically)?
phone's time will usually auto-syn. with sim card's network.
But, what differs it from the atomic clock, via the app?

Well... it is an unofficial way to sync. But it works for me. I used this guide form youtube:

There is no difference between the two methods. But some say using bluetooth consume more battery vs. atomic clock.

Bluetooth doesn't consume much battery... and only checks 4 times a day...
but really why bother being so anal having it in sync every day? accuracy of like 5-15secs a month good already... that 1 sec loss a day isn't gonna kill u...
this is more useful for those who travel often so can sync time in new time zone effortlessly.

oh, and phone time is always a delay from true atomic time...about 2 secs... cos it needs to travel over diff networks from telco to ur phone...

Since when did the local g shock price becomes out of control? I think last year stills reasonable. Nowadays even retailer or big online store that have physical shops has started following scalpers practise.
