I've been searching for the elusive 1983 50 cents coin for 2 years now and I finally found it as a change from a parking meter payout in a shopping mall in PJ!!

The last i saw in lelong.com a 1983 50 cents is worth around RM25 and the 1985 is around RM20...supposedly they are limited runs dats why...

wonder how much you guys value it....uh nonsensical threads are also allowed!!!

well nope..it still has the bnm words on the side just that those 2 years has limited runs on the coins and like i said took me 2 years just to find the 83 coin!!
