Its not exactly sharp pain, more towards a discomfort and i can feel the nerves/veins moves as i lift.
It doesnt stop me from lifting but its just very uncomfortable to do so.
First off, what kind of rep range are you looking at when you say 'heavy'?
Though rare, may be a bicep alignment issue, or in more serious cases tendon strain or minor tendon/ligament tears.
Have you tried icing the area and resting it a few days?
PS: also contrary to popular belief, "you must lift heavy to grow, and you can't grow with light weight", you most certainly do not require heavy weights in order to stimulate growth.
