Hi all gamers and kaki portable. This year we've been blasted with more and greater entertainment system not to mention, the portable. Phones and consoles are hot. However,(my 2 cents) playing games on moblie phones just doesn't cut it (need button i guess). I need a cooler system. Latest as we all know is the vita and 3ds.

Both are cool, both are great in their own way. For me the Vita (another 2 cents) is more advanced. The resolution and clarity of the screen is crisp. But to concentrate a fully detailed graphic in a small screen is not so comforting.But the vita has a good internet tools, and also great to watch movies on it. While the 3ds(XL),, (another 2 cents)for me, is not so advanced (the pixelated screen) although it still manage to pull off some great graphic. Playing simple games on it with modest resolution on a small screen (another 2 cents) wouldn't bother much. However, some titles for the nintendo's is the reason to choose the 3ds (you know the games).

Those are my opinions on those consoles. There was a time where i actually was to bring either one home,, but still return empty handed. I cant decide although i know the only points to choose each consoles (another 2 cents) is whether great graphic or memorable games. I know many of you guys out there has experienced any of these (my colleague have both and ive tried em). Just want to know what your thoughts, the Pros and Cons. There wont be any right or wrong about your opinion and any mixed thoughts is gonna be Fun to share.

3ds = quite childish for me..a no no.maybe for kids ok la from my pov

vita = altho portable, i simply cannot find any sort of justification paying rm120 + for a portable game..i might as well buy a ps3 game with tht price + right now not many games available tht suits my liking.

best solution..i would use tht money to buy either ps3 or xbox.

Seriously do you need to pick a specific portable game system to prove yourself as an adult?

Anyway most of my DS game cost me more than RM150, a couple of them more than RM170 (MYR sucked and SquareEnix's a greedy scumbag). So yes, people will pay for quality games that they can play on the go.

Nintendo did bring alt of memorable title with the same feel of playing it.

Still, depends on personal requirement if u like that get it, if u like this get this.... Something I called satisfaction.... And follow your heart my personal point of view? If u at Japan? Get 3DS lots of people have it and I so call think is a must there... I saw most of the people playing with at bus, train even at the waiting station also playing with it but no ps vita.... =.= and I don't know y.....

3DS got budak games

some already ditch their childish 3DS to play hardcore games on PSV

from a non-bias gamer point of view:

3DS - lousy tech
vita- super tech

hence, vita>3DS

but if you have the means, i recommend you get both. both have games that are nice to play.

3DS have fire emblem, resident evil revelations, kingdom hearts dream drop distance.

vita have ragnarok odyssey, gravity rush, soul sacrifice and much more coming soon including most probably final fantasy type-0

in the end, i recommend getting a vita, but if you can, try to get both

3ds. get the XL version. resident evil, mgs3d... u cant go wrong there

I am a big Mario fan, thus I got the 3DS (2nd hand)....

Not a fan of PSP (and its variation), because most of the games are too "hardcore"

I need something simple to play to relax after work.... so PSP does not cut it... and the price for the PSVita.... has a asking price of RM1200+... for that price... that is some sick pricing.... I rather get an IPAD

If you want my opinion, go pick up a 2nd Hand 3DS from the forum, it is cheap... play with it a few months, dont like it... sell it....

ps vita for me...waiting for some nice RPG games like FF Type-0...im a traditional RPG freak since PSOne... ...then again no budget at the moment and still paying to reduce alot of my credit card outstanding balance...

Played both .. Doesnt feel impressive like when i first got original ndsl and psp

Ds was like minor improvement , screen is big by little(not 3ds xl,normal) , and got analog + 3d. Analog was really well done. 3d depends on game but it will make dizzy.
3ds xl is same reso so still got some pixelated.. And the hype about graphics on 3ds, still look crap to me.. Improved but still 2005 graphics, worst than ps2 imo

Ps vita have Major improvement from psp, graphics are superb . Screen is ok like retina ipad, 2 analog, i prefer 3ds analog, 2 analog is good but pressing dpad on the right feels wrong bcause analog is near to it. Fr big hands might be prob. dpad however is superb than 3ds.

Imo, get a ps vita. But wait till next year only buy.

I am an adult. I buy all the latest and greatest handhelds/consoles. :-p

for me games are meant to be enjoy together and having fun and so far 3DS is giving me lots of it

I meet lots of friends that i will never meet all thanks to 3DS
The most awesome feature about 3DS is the ability to play with 6-7 people at a time.. mario kart,kid icarus , tetris axel and club house games..

the enjoyment that 3DS bring is priceless and it's not all about showing of achievement and bragging right

What u mean.. The 3ds features where u standby 3ds then meet new opponents by just walking to shopping malls?
