QUOTE(davidke20 @ Aug 29 2012, 02:03 PM) I'm currently running a small test regarding different brand of petrol. For your information, most EFi engines fitted with ping sensor, which means whenever petrol is easy ignite, ECU will retard ignition timing to prevent pinging/knocking (self ignite air fuel mixture). I guess carburetor will be more suitable, therefore I will be using my Iswaga to record my petrol consumption of different brand of petrol. I'm a regular ESSO user, bcoz ESSO & BHP stations located right outside my area. I will be reporting back for each different kind of petrol and feedback. I just had my tank refilled yesterday. Calculation for previous tank of ESSO RON95 as below: Total trip: 578.1km Fill up: 41.05litre Km/l = 14.08 Litre/100km = 7.1 I have filled up with BHP with INFINITI95 petrol until it spill out. Will report back on next tank hopefully to give you guys a brief comparison. After that will be Caltex, Petronas, Shell. NGV RON rating is 130. My OBD2 reports timing advance can hit >40 degrees with NGV depending on load.

I touch up sometimes. The car travels everyday, surely won't be able to avoid stone chips.
Eneos 1U is at old wing, lower ground.

I use Caltex petrol also. When I feel like giving the engine a spa, I switch to petrol mode.

If I switch to petrol while driving, I hear "roaarrrrr~". With NGV, there's very little exhaust sound. The sound is very satisfying

QUOTE(matmoto5125 @ Aug 30 2012, 03:23 PM) I see.. But sure lots of reviews overseas (again particularly in US) doesn't agree with the effect. It's pretty much "a waste of money". I was about to ask you whether you drive a hybrid or an NGV-equipped car.. Mine is a Persona NGV. I joined Saga gathering recently with my Persona. QUOTE(dares @ Aug 30 2012, 03:26 PM) Yea, if they use Liqui Moly or the likes I won't have to go to SC service with a long face Added on August 30, 2012, 3:28 pmPersonal taste ma. You see r3aper's ride I am using Liqui-Moly. I brought it to CoSE. CoSE called me, warning me about the engine oil. The consultant said chief technician strongly advise not to use Liqui-Moly because it's for diesel engine.

The Liqui-Moly bottle says, for Gasoline and Diesel Engine. Maybe they didn't get the idea of what's Gasoline.

Diesel lubricant generally also have better cleaning agent.
But come on, it's a typical 10W-40 lubricant, specialized diesel lubricant usually comes with higher weights.

QUOTE(dares @ Aug 31 2012, 01:42 AM) That's why I say, never cut springs to lower the car. The different stiffness along the length are for different situations. HOW?? Then shouldn't buffer also?
