QUOTE(davidke20 @ Aug 24 2012, 10:48 AM) reporting! New tered resolution, to report ICE improvement, DIY stuff, and at minimal costing Just to share what i did. changed HU cos stock dont have rca output. Plug in 2 6.5" midbass component speaker on front doors. muted the rear stock speakers. A nice 2 ch amplifier to maximise front speaker performance. finally soundproof 2 front doors with STP materials. Results: Very nice sound stage and drowns out the engine noise. Although lack a subwoofer for the low frequencies, but the strong midbass is good enough. Just a newbie in ICE.

QUOTE(davidke20 @ Aug 24 2012, 11:38 AM) Interesting enough. So Caliber recommended by ka_one2000 looks very promising. I have subwoofer exploded experience with caliber, but that was crazy enough to maxxed out the damn thing pushed under 2ohm wild for straight 15 minutes. For the price below 1k, that looks crazy enough Meanwhile, thanks for 17osm17 sharing also. You listen to 蔡琴 izit most of the pretty voice obsessed ******* will disable rear output and staged a live studio for front seats How much did you stage those things up? Got filter your head unit with capacitor boh? Would like to sit in your "concert" if I happened to go find you you have my address d can find me anytime. bring your 蔡琴 cd. My HU not audiophile grade la. only some pioneer entry level. setup cost few K lo. but no need say amount la. important my ears like the sound. throw in alot money doesnt mean will sound good.

QUOTE(zeone @ Aug 24 2012, 01:08 PM) Really dat bad? Altho came with USB & AUX inputs... Not even a pair? the last time i seen it is 2 years ago. i might be wrong. but an upgrade of HU is definately a must. better signal processing, equalizer, usb/sd card function, better built in amplifier (for those who do not want an amp upgrade)

Recently changed my front brake pads. Not Ori proton 1. forgotten the brand. It's been giving me squeeling sound when i brake. Already ran for over 1000 km. mechanic already tried skimming the brake pad a little, but still doesnt solve the sound.
Any idea how to fix this, besides changing to new pads?
