QUOTE(honamd77 @ Aug 30 2012, 07:34 PM) Just regularly lift the mat and wipe it you dashboard when you clean your car, so that it doesn't trap moisture and get rid of chemicals that may have got on the dashboard due to the antislip mat's reaction to sunlight. |

QUOTE(coolkwc @ Aug 30 2012, 10:00 PM) Maybe ur car still new, spark plug still new and can make complete combustion even without FS, thats why can't feel the effect? I think the voltage is the bottleneck instead of the plugs, which the FS addresses. After all, FS claims that it is the larger and hotter spark that promotes complete combustion. A new spark plug at most can produce a hotter spark, I think, not a larger one compared to older plugs My plug adi last for 55k, with FS i expect it should give 'some' different. Jz my 2 rupiah |

QUOTE(JeremyxMrOkay @ Aug 31 2012, 12:24 AM) How old is your car? If less than a year is under warranty.Added on August 31, 2012, 12:33 am QUOTE(mat79 @ Aug 31 2012, 12:26 AM) hi guys, since seing a lot of minor modes being done, just a suggestion, why not try up r3 fav minor mode which changing plugs to Ngk iri ix tr61x, n drop in air filter by k&n(no need to retune af ratio since using drop in only) for better response. But need to mind u that it wont increase hp or torque, but did improve on throttle response for campro based engine including iafm+. Remember, this is just minor minor mode, dont expect turbo charged performance diff :-). But the best minor mode shud be decat, but then, u will polluting the air since campro based engine design to reduce emmision is using mainly cat con. U can free a few horses there, but sadly to said, it will interfere with ur warranty. Have a nice day n happy merdeka day. Bye. Proton selling KnN drop in at over RM400++ compared to RM200++ sold by outside dealers This post has been edited by dares: Aug 31 2012, 12:33 AM |

QUOTE(davidke20 @ Aug 31 2012, 01:17 AM) . I consulted my magician, he explained all factory/standard specification springs are PROGRESSIVE setup. Meaning the coil spring from big round coil on top gradually tighten to smaller round at the bottom. Reason being, to allowed reasonable bodyroll whenever its needed. For example, when going through a speedbump, only the big round coil will be compress, so you wouldn't feel harsh bounce. Where as the smaller round will be incharge of bigger action. The other function for the big round coil is to furnish enough space to sustain the seperated absorbers. Without this PROGRESSIVE design, if we went through JUMP(over speed on speedbumps), the spring decompressed and could detached from the base!!! So, these seems unuseable/low strength big round coil served its important purpose. That's why I say, never cut springs to lower the car. The different stiffness along the length are for different situations.QUOTE(davidke20 @ Aug 31 2012, 01:17 AM) Now I have no problem with 55 series R15 tires anymore, even with 6 adults + a 5 year old kid at the backseat. How to love my gaga more? take an occasional drive on my sis's Vios.
Yesterday I was driving around in the Toyolda, feels farking so underpowered. On a level road I could not keep up with a 1.3 Saga FLX, and then on the uphill slope on MRR2 near Cheras Tesco Extra, towards Ampang direction, I literally floored the damn throttle and all it does is maintain speed up the hill while the engine screamed in agony. My gf asked me to stop because the engine sound was unnerving her. Before you say "Of course la you are comparing to a 1.6 CVT", I havent gotten to the best part yet. While on that slope, the 1NZ-FE engine screaming up the hill, a black BLM overtook me I dunno whether that's because her engine oil broke down so much it has turned into powder, or the throttle body is so dirty the engine is suffocating, I don't think the car is very healthy at the moment. |

QUOTE(mengsuan @ Aug 31 2012, 12:18 PM) Can you pick which part of the spring to place the buffer? If yes then you just have to pick how you want your springs to behave. Most importantly, it is reversable. It is irrelevant though, if you use springs with constant diameter coils. The effect would be different |
